The Frog has evolved
Bugaboo's popular "Frog" stroller has been a celeb favorite and New York City icon for the past few years. The Netherlands-based company has taken all the famous features of the Frog and evolved it into two new species, the Gecko and the Cameleon!
The Bugaboo Gecko features a minimalist design while maintaining it's functional, compact and durable construction, which made the Frog famous. The Gecko includes: newborn bassinet with Aerosleep mattress, stroller seat, sun canopy, underseat storage bag, mosquito net, rain cover, maintenance kit, and instructional DVD. Some of the great features are the reversible seat/bassinet, reversible handle, 2-wheel option for sand or snow, reclining seat, swivel wheel suspension, machine washable fabrics, 4.7 gallons of storage space in the basket, one-handed maneuverability, and weighs only 18 pounds!
If you want all the bells and whistles, the Cameleon includes all the goodies from the Gecko plus customizable tailored fabrics (including seat inlay, sun canopy and bassinet apron) in a soft sports fleece to wick away moisture in the heat and keep baby warm in the cold. Taller parents will appreciate the Cameleon's height adjustable handlebar. Other additions include a carry handle, adjustable suspension for varying terrains, and large seat and canopy dimensions. What is most striking about the Cameleon however, is it's gorgeous 2-toned color options! Choose from four different base colors and eight different apron colors.
Additional fun and functional accessories are available separately and include a matching diaper bag, parasol, car seat adapters, footmuffs, wheeled board, and a travel bag. Prices on these two new species range both above and below the Frog's current cost.

I don't know what to think about this. I wish they could have just left the Frog alone, or just improve it like they do with cars and deoderant. I realy don't like the Gecko or the concept. The stripped down version is still expensive and since the Frog isn't available it makes you -if you like the Frog- just throw caution to the wind and super splurge on the Chameleon even if you couldn't care less about the two-tone option.
