A totally addictive children's CD
So here I am having breakfast with my daughter, listening to The Backyardigans CD for possibly the zillioneth time. And I don't mind it a bit.The Backyardigans is a Nick Jr. cartoon featuring five animal characters (some resemble real animals, others are more fictional) who dream up adventures in their backyard. What makes this cartoon unique though is the music. Each episode features several original songs in different music genres such as disco, hip-hop, jazz, swing, mambo and many more.
I'm embarrassed to admit it but I put two tracks, "Questing, Questing" and "Yeti Stomp" on my iPod workout mix before coming to my senses and deleting them. But I do catch myself humming these songs several times a day, and it always seems to put me in a good mood.

You know I'm obsessed with the CD as well. Those are also my two fav. songs. Yeti Stomp is constantly in my head.

FYI, one of the voices of the "BackYardigans," is Jonah Bobo a brilliant child actor who recently starred in the sci-fi kid flick Zathura - just released on DVD. There's an adorable photo of him w/ lil' sister Georgia on our "press" page. His sister & mom are both huge Crib Rock Couture fans.
