Who has it harder, Moms of boys or Moms of girls?
Sometimes I take a moment to stare at my boys, and the thought crosses my mind, "my kids are INSANE" They tackle, they run and jump - I'm constantly crossing my fingers as my two hazards on tiny feet race around my house. I go back and forth between screaming and laughing when I find the two of them doing something like running and jumping at one another on the couch.
I know it's a boy thing and I have the conversation often with friends. My one friend argues that girls are harder - as her 6-year old has a whole lot of attitude and gives her much more grief than her 3 year old boy.
So when I saw this article on CNN today from Parenting Mag, I was intrigued to click over. According to them, they're both hard! Well, yah. But check it out - the piece is interesting as it breaks it down to different aspects of parenting - like how boys are harder with discipline but girls are harder with self-esteem issues.
What do you think?

I love this article! As a mom of 2 boys, I can relate. For example, I was recently taking care of some MOMS Club business at the bank with two Board members, who both have little girls about the same ages as my boys. While the girls were nicely practicing writing their letters and sharing a book, my boys were fighting, yelling and wriggling all over the place. The other moms did not make me feel self-conscious or anything, I am good at making myself feel that way. But at least now I can say for certain, "there is a biological difference", instead of just feeling like I can't keep a handle on my kids!

From my experience and observation, boys are much more difficult to manage when little. Girls, generally, are less physical in activity(and less noise!). . but, but, but. .
the sweet girls are storing up all that unspent energy to expend during the preteen and teen years.
that's when Moms of boys can sit back and relax(not completely of course) while the moms of girls need to purchase extra hair dye for all the white hairs that begin popping up. . . LOL! still worth the parenting though!
