My son was born in the cold month of December and when I started to search for nursing wear I realized that pretty much everything came in the form of a tank top. That isn’t ideal when it’s freezing out. Now that I have my daughter and the cold months will soon be upon us I was finding the same problem. That is until I found boob nursing wear. With a ton of long sleeved nursing top options I promise you won’t freeze this winter.
Boob nursing wear was born on a cold, windy day in the autumn of 1999. When the founder Mia Seipel watched her sister nurse her newborn son in a park in Stockhold, waist bare to the icy northern wind. Then and there, she decided that it should be every woman’s right to nurse in comfort and in style. The answer was Boob nursing wear. A Swedish patented innovation that will make you look great. That was just the beginning. Today, they have everything from maternity to nursing wear.
I personally was excited to try the B-Warmer Nursing Hoodie ($99). When I saw it I knew I had to have it for the cold months of winter. It is a Hoodie with a double function for pregnancy and nursing. The front overlap has a supple fleece lining to keep your bosom warm and snug, while the rest of the garment is cool and comfortable in a soft fabric in 95% certified organic cotton and 5% elastane. The fleece lining is 100% made from recycled plastic bottles. I have nursed in this shirt and LOVE it! I am warm and covered when I nurse my daughter. The flap lifts easily and is comfortable while nursing. It also looks stylish and doesn’t scream. “I am wearing a nursing shirt!”
I am so happy to see that this company took a need that I am sure many nursing moms have and solved the problem. Nursing moms deserve to nurse easily and comfortably while staying warm. Definitely a must have.
