When my husband and I recently planned a few trips that involved flying with our daughter, we knew that we needed to find a way to lug our Britax car seat through the airport. After an extensive search, we came across the Pac Back at One Step Ahead. What a fabulous product! This clever backpack carrier holds your car seat securely on your back, leaving your hands free for your toddler.
Like most mommies, my days of long, luxurious bubble baths have gone the way of sleeping in, ultra low-rise jeans and vehicles that seat less than a sports team.
I definitely could have used one of these when I was pregnant with my son. We all know that stage - the "I can't be comfortable if my button my pants but I don't want to buy maternity clothes" stage. It lasts a couple weeks. (Also known as the "I'm starting to show but I probably just look like I'm fat" stage.)

Dress your infant for the prom early (the preschool prom, perhaps?) in one of these cute tuxedo onesies made by Little Bones and for sale at the Tot Shop. They come in black or blue, or get the pink one (the "formal dress") for your girl. They go up to 24m.
Slings rank up there with strollers and diaper bags as something that really comes down to personal preference. Every Mom has specific needs when it comes to a sling - although the basics are the same: something that makes it easy to breastfeed hands free and something that makes it comfortable and easy for you to wear your baby, making them feel comfortable and secure.
Looking for a way to motivate your child to stay active and eat healthy? Well, I've got the DVD for you!
My aunt recently sent Jacob the My ABC Bag, a soft book has twenty-six pillow toys corresponding to each letter of the alphabet that sit in their own pockets. The book zips up and is extremely portable, making it a great toy for the car or plane.
Just Kiddin' Furniture sells hand-painted one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture for your babies' and children's rooms. They offer some exquisite pieces, or you can custom order any theme.
The canopy never seems sufficient to me on most strollers I see today -- especially when you're out for a walk and dealing with sunglare.
I'll give all the credit, and appreciation, to Whitney for this find. We were playing at her house the other day, and my 6 month old attached himself to a GREAT baby toy. He's hardly put it down since... seriously, I had to take it away so that I could feed him this afternoon.
I don't know about you, but my mommy to-do list does not include a weekly trip to the spa. It's all quite unfortunate, since I've somehow reached a point in time when I am getting zits and wrinkles at the same time (how's that for cosmically unfair?), and my skin can use all the help it can get! But, since neither my budget nor my day planner will afford me the luxury of frequenting that lovely haven of fluffy white robes and cucumber eye masks, I've had to explore other options.
There are some adorable girls clothes for sale on Ismodern.com. The designs are modern and full of fun bold colors and make me wish I had a girl to dress.
3J Workshop creations are a mix of classic, casual cool and eclectic style. Paired with denim from Joe's Jeans or Seven Jeans, this Foert D' Elans top is both elegant and simple!

Simple happy. Isn't that the best there is in life? And doesn't it describe the innocence and love of a baby?
Julie and I were recently at a children's show in NYC. In all my years of "traditional working," I had never been to a show at the Javits Center. Those of you who have been already know - it's overwhelming.
True to form for a Minnesota March, there is ten inches of snow covering the patch of land I vaguely remember to be my lawn. Call me an optimist, but I still have hope that sunny spring days are on the way! That means short sleeves and open necklines ... leaving bare arms and necks just begging to be adorned with a bit of prettiness.
Strollers are like diaper bags in that every Mom I know seems to be on the never-ending search to find the "perfect" one. With strollers, it's always something - it doesn't recline enough; there's not enough space; it pivots too easily; it doesn't pivot; it doesn't have enough storage, and a million other complaints I've heard and experienced. It's why I rarely review strollers, I'm particular as I know many other Moms are.

Those were the first words my husband said to me when he came home from work yesterday and saw me wearing my new baseball raglan tee from Mommy Go Round. Believe me my husband has been very supportive of my pregnancy and my 3rd trimester moans and groans about how big and uncomfortable I am, but he usually doesn’t refer to my maternity clothes as something he likes! Actually I was just lamenting to my friends the other day how I went shopping for some new maternity clothes and I couldn’t find a single thing in ANY of the maternity shops. The 3rd trimester is just SO hard to get through when you see this big, pregnant belly on yourself. You just want your body back & you yearn for clothes that make you feel good again.
Moncalin celebrity gifting suite was the hit spot at the pre-MTV award on March 3rd suite hosted by Celebrity Style insider Jayneoni. Among avid lovers of the Moncalin collection, Kimberly Elise (CBS's Close To Home and Diary of a Mad Black Woman) got a Moncalin super soft Star Shape Blankee for a 7 year Butterfly. Angela Bassett was gifted a set of Moncalin Stuffed Animal and Blanket for her upcoming twins!
Okay, so think about your favorite mommy girlfriends. Like the one who somehow manages to look chic all the time, even in the God-awful early rush of pre-school drop off, wearing jeans and a juice-stained hoodie. Or the funny one. Who can make you laugh, even when your toddler and hers are locked in a to-the-death battle over the last red megablock. Imagine the three of you got together over a nice bottle of merlot (yeah, I know, I never have time to meet anyone over a nice bottle of merlot either, but I said imagine) and decided to design some T-shirts for all the other fabulous mommies you knew. Are you imagining?
My pink "nobody likes a potty mouth" shirt is a sure-fire candidate for a gym and run-around wardrobe staple for me. I love the super-soft cotton, and although I usually don't like the fit of scoop neck tees (I'm a V-neck girl!) I like these a lot.
I've always thought this was a really cute site. They have funky bags, diaper bags, clothing and more.
Turtle Papers sells modern design one-of-a-kind stationary, onesies and baby tees. Their unique designs are fun and different. (My favorite tees are the Hippo and the "I'm Kissasble" ones)
Your kids can visit the world at their fingertips or drive a dump truck, feed the elephants, have tea with the Queen, practice ballet, and when they are done, they can just fold up the fun and take it with them! With Play Scenes kids can use their imaginations to provide themselves with endless hours of entertainment wherever they go! Each sticker set has more than 50 reusable vinyl stickers to arrange and rearrange for ever-changing adventures. The colorful and sturdy background boards fold up like a book and come complete with a carrying handle. No road trip should be without one!
Here's a great game that is for ages 3 and up. However, I was amazed at how well my 2 1/2 year old caught on instantly and now loves playing and beating me! She concentrates so hard and is so excited when we play! It is a great way to help toddlers develop visual discrimination and matching skills.
I don't know about your husbands, but mine has never been thrilled with my diaper bag choices. Call it crazy, but somehow carrying a pink diaper bag doesn't exactly make my husband feel masculine. And I know my husband isn't the only one to complain.
