Art Smock
I recently got to try out some great new products for my kids from Bumkins as they conduct their back-to-school blog tour. The Waterproof Art Smock and Waterproof Apron that my sons got to try will be perfect for their upcoming school year!
My older son Jacob was so excited to try out his Dr. Seuss Bumkins Art Smock. He was immediately drawn to it’s colorful, fun and playful print. He literally put it on and then started running around the house looking for any and all art projects that he could do. (We settled on painting and chalk on our driveway!) The long-sleeved Smock did a great job protecting his clothes and arms from the paint, and he looked adorable at the same time! I love the fact that the Smock is machine washable, durable, stain resistant, and is colorful and fun for my son. I also love that it is PVC Phthalates free and has an adjustable tie closure to keep it in place. The Art Smock is best for children ages 2 through 5. (My son is almost 5 and is pretty big for his age… it fit him just fine.)
Apron
My younger son got to try out an adorable Dr. Suess apron when we were making pizza the other night. (Though with an adjustable fit with a tie and drawstring toggle, my older son also got to wear it!) The apron is also stain and odor resistant, perfect for the kitchen. The fabric is durable yet comfortable, and the large pockets are perfect for sticking utensils or other little kitchen items. Also machine washable, aprons are available in toddler size (3-6 yrs), child (6-12) or Adult (12+).
Like all Bumkins products, there are tons of fabric choices available, from Dr. Seuss to mod-prints to classic styles for boys and girls.

I absolutely LOVE the basic bumkins bib!! It cleans off and dries sooo easily–I take it with me everywhere and couldn’t live without it for my 2 1/2 year old son!!
I LOVE the art smocks now. My son is too big for the bibs (he says he is, but you should watch him eat spaghetti!) The art smocks are fantastic for those creative urges he gets multiple times a day! I love the Dr. Seuss ones, especially the Green Eggs and Ham.

We’ve only used the bib, and I think it’s a FANTASTIC product. Machine washable, lightweight, portable- and effective! Looking forward to trying the smock for my son who loves art but makes a huge mess!

I love the Bumkin bibs. But now that my daughter is in preschool I need to get the apron as well for her “art” projects.
I’d love to have a toddler apron for my son.
All the Bumkins products are great! The fabric is so practical: Wipe it for quick cleanups or toss in the washer – - it goes through dozens of launderings without any obvious wear. I always keep a few on hand to use as gifts for baby showers. The long-sleeved smock is excellent for messy eaters or little artists.
I love Bumpkins.com for their wonderful array of gift baskets. When one of my coworkers or friends is having a baby, Bumpkins.com is one of the first places I go to order a gift basket. The soon-to-be mommy always loves to receive them!
Bumkins school gear is new to me, and I would love to try it! Here in our home, we LOVE Bumkins organic towels and washcloths! Bumkins are the ones I always end up going for first from our closet!

My favorite was a smock Bumkins had a few years ago Dr. Seuss Green eggs and ham. They also had One fish two fish. I purchased them for my daughter when she was in preschool. Now that it’s my son’s turn I can only find Cat in the hat. The other designs were much nicer but I guess I have to get the cat.
