In Mono Mode

In a word, yes! It’s expensive, but for city parents who may not own a car and will use it through two or more children… it’s going to get lots of use, is pretty easy to keep neat and still have resale value at the end. And the push is divine.

Skylar loved it and I had the 5 point harness adjusted to fit him in about a minute (it was so easy). He loved sitting upright (probably because we still keep him in the Cameleon Bassinet). It looked great..and I loved seeing a one piece fold from Bugaboo. Now to find the $$$ to get one!

In Duo Mode

Being that my little man is getting bigger every day, soon I will reach that stage where he is out of his infant carrier. I have mixed feelings about this, but whether I like it or not it’s going to happen. That means I need an a great stroller that is just as easy as the snap and go I have now. That is why I was lucky enough to get to try the First Years Ignite Stroller. It’s a stroller filled with the great features of an expensive stroller, but with an inexpensive price tag.

First of all it was extremely easy to put together. All that was required was snapping on the four wheels and the canopy. It was so easy that I was even able to do it myself! And if you know me, you know that is HUGE! If that doesn’t sell you, how about the nice price tag of $59.99? With that price it falls in between the cheap umbrella strollers, but still is much less expensive and easier than the large travel systems. Plus it folds up easy like the cheap umbrella strollers.

Some great features?

• Can hold your child till they are 50 lbs
• Has a great canopy that can easily be removed
• 5 point harness that can keep your little one safely inside
• Has a cup holder and a zippered pouch
• Reclinable seat; which is great for a quick nap
• 14.25 lbs which makes it light and easy to carry

The First Years Ignite Stroller also comes in many great color options which will suit almost anyone’s needs. Since it can hold up to 50 lbs, this stroller can definitely be used for a long time. It’s nice to not have to keep buying strollers.

Overall I was very impressed with this stroller, and I think that it gives a family lots of features at half the cost. Easy, useful, afforable…all words a mom wants to hear…and all words that could be used to describe the First Years Ignite Stroller.

I never fully understood how difficult it was for mom’s to run simple errands until I had a baby of my own. Even the simplest of tasks like running to the post office becomes a full out chore. One of the biggest dilemmas is how to carry your purse or bags while at the same time toting your child whether it be in a stroller, cart, or even if you are wearing them. Yes, there normally is a little basket at the bottom of the stroller, but that doesn’t always give you easy access to your purse, and it certainly doesn’t leave enough room for multiple shopping bags. That’s when The Mommy Hook came into my life, and made the little tasks a lot easier!

The picture above pretty much says it all. When I went shopping the other day I was able to not only hang my purse on the hook, but multiple bags as well. That left the bottom of the basket open to store my diaper bag. It also allowed me easy access to my purse so I could easily get to my wallet (which is very necessary while shopping!).

I remember my first experience going to a grocery store. I thought I had it all figured out, since I only needed a few things. I didn’t need a cart because I would put the items in the bottom of the stroller, but when it came to check out time I was left with multiple shopping bags and no way to carry those as well as be able to push the stroller. the Taga Bicycle/Stroller - $1495

What do you think of this Stroller/Bicycle hybrid from Dutch company Taga?  New to the US in 2010, you just know you’d get stopped a bunch if you were using this.
