Cocktail Fun: What’s Your Liquid Identity?

I just finished watching a 15-minute live Ustream video with Ocean Spray. They’re live in New York City throughout the day today and I joined in for 15 minutes of “What’s Your Liquid Identity,” and they mixed and made fun cocktails – my kind of chat!

My favorite that they made was the Cherry Mojito which is made with Spiced Rum & Ocean Spray Cherry Juice. YUM! Dying to try it in person – it was torture just watching them make it!!

So if you missed it, no biggie! They have this What’s Your Liquid Identity app on the Ocean Spray fan page on Facebook. It’s a couple of questions and you can find out what cocktail’s for you! I filled it out and got this one – may have to try this next!  Check it out and see what cocktail is your liquid identity and let me know!

Some fun facts about cranberries:

*If you strung together all the cranberries produced in North America last year, they would stretch from
Boston to Los Angeles more than 565 times.
* Cheryl Cook created the first Cosmopolitan, bringing the cranberry front and center as a versatile mixer.
* The key ingredient to making sure cranberry sauce gels is pectin. Cook the sauce for at least 10 minutes
at a full boil to release it.
* Cranberries are rich in antioxidants and have more naturally occurring antioxidants per gram than other
common fruit.
* You can taste the healthy goodness of the cranberry. PACs, or proanthocyanadins, are responsible for
cranberry’s tart taste and give them a healthy edge.
* Eight ounces of cranberry juice cocktail, 1/2 cup of fresh cranberries and 1/4 cup of dried cranberries or
cranberry sauce each provide the same urinary tract health benefits.
