I’m having a rough time getting my running mojo back. After being in Florida last month and enjoying a couple of runs on the beach, I remembered how awesome it is to put one foot after the other and to BE OUTSIDE in the fresh air and sunshine. I got that runner’s high feeling and promised myself I would step up my running game when I got home.
Because I’ve definitely fallen off the wagon this winter. Since pretty much November and the time the cold weather descended, I’ve continued at the gym but it’s just so much easier to go to a Step class than run 5 miles on an indoor track or treadmill. But I’m trying to suck it back up now so I can build some running endurance again.
On that first 40 degree + day, I hope to be outside running again! And in the meantime, I’ll shop for cute new running gear and on that first sunny 40 degree plus day, I’ll be outside. Here are some new picks I’m loving:
Blossoms Be Free Knickers, $64 at Athleta.
I’m a huge fan of Athleta for my outdoor runs, I love the zip pocket in the back which is great for tucking my car keys when I’m hitting the trail.
These Old Navy Printed Compression Capris are on sale for $22.97! Plus use coupon code SAVE20 for an additional 20% off.
I adore these Running Skirts from SparkleAthletic.com. It comes in various colors and each is $25. So fun for a race! I love the green for any St. Patrick’s Day races you might be doing! I’m toying with the idea of ordering one just so I can wear it in my local 5k.
They also sell these Race Legs for $12 each. The green skirt and these Green & Yellow Striped socks would be perfect for St. Patrick’s Day!
You can’t beat the price on these Women’s C9 by Champion Cross Trainers for a class at the gym. $29.99 at Target.com, love the lime & turquoise combo!
I’m still loving my Urban Halo headbands! I get compliments on them all the time and someone actually stopped me on the track last week to ask me where to get them. I placed a second order of some of the ones on sale (normally they are $15 but they have discontinued headbands at $8 on their Going Once, Going Twice page!)
