Giveaways

Like most moms, I take a ton of pictures of my kids. One of my worst fears is that my computer will crash and I will lose them all. And if I backup my computer, how do I know that I am doing it correctly and often enough?
Well, the Picture Keeper is a really neat little product that quickly and easily safeguards your photos without installing any software or doing anything technical and difficult. A combination of a USB flash memory drive with embedded software and compatible with both Windows and Mac, each Picture Keeper can store either 4,000 (4GB) or 8,000 (8GB) photos (depending on the Picture Keeper you purchase).
Wonder how it works? Simply plug Picture Keeper into any USB port, click OK/Start Backup and then Picture Keeper automatically finds and saves all of your pictures. There is no software to install or to configure and no confusing “wizards” to click through! It is so simple to use, allows you to relax and know that your priceless digital pictures are safe against the potential hard drive failure or computer crash. Feel free to watch this video to learn more about the Picture Keeper, too.
Want a chance to win one for you, and one for Mom? We are happy to giveaway TWO 8GB Picture Keeper (that’s 8,000 photos you can store and not worry about losing anymore, and one for your mom or friend!!) To enter, please leave a comment below telling us what favorite pictures you would store on the Picture Keeper, or how/why you would use this great product. The winner will be chosen on May 8th. For those who don’t win, take $15 off the purchase of the Picture Keeper by using code MWS.

I would LOVE the Picture Keeper.I would keep all the pics of my little man, Ryan (9 months). About a month ago, my one year old Macbook’s hard drive crashed and I lost 2 months worth of pictures that I did not store on my other computer yet. It was so sad. I havent saved the new pictures because I have been researching external hard drives. So sad for me :(

This is exactly what I need! I had a beautiful baby girl October 16, 2008 and I take pictures of her almost everyday, so you can imagine of the the pictures of have on my computer…that aren’t backed up or saved. I would Love the Picture Keeper to save all of my babys pictures on it.

  6. Kristine Boyle Says:

I would love a picture keeper. When I lost most of the pictures taken of my oldest son (from birth to about 1yr) because of a hard drive crash I have been pretty good about backing up my photos on disc, but I can’t be confident that the disc won’t scratch or get lost along with all my pictures!! This product is fantastic to make sure that I no longer lose precious pictures of my 3 wonderful little boys!

  7. Paige Says:

I have so many pictures and I have been backing them up onto CDs. This would make my life SOOOOO much easier!

  8. Veronica M. Says:

This would be great to store pictures of my first baby boy who is almost ten months old. Additionally, it would be handy to have since his brother is expected to be born next month.

  9. Kristina Rust Says:

This sounds too good to be true! I’d store ALL of my photos and finally feel like I am a tiny bit organized and well-prepared.

I would love this! As a mom of three little girls I have a million memories captured on my camera. Since my computer seems to be on its last leg, this would be the best solution for me! :) I LOVE ideas that are simple to use..great product!

Oh my gosh this product is awesome. My biggest computer fear is losing all my photos. I have taken more photos of my 2 kids than anyone can imagine. It’s my favorite hobby. I captured a quick kiss my 5 year old gave my 1 year old on the nose. Its the best photo ever I just love it & it shows the love he has for his baby sister.

  15. Andrea Hertz Says:

IF ONLY I HAD THIS YEARS AGO! I have lost countless pictures of my children on computers that crashed and no hard working geek could bring back to life for me. I am a mother of nine, and the only thing I would grab on my way out of a burning house (besides my arms full of kids) is my picture keeper!!!!!

  16. Devon Says:

I would love this product! I am always worried about losing my pictures. I have that same fear that my backup methods just might not be working. I actually had a very bad virus attack my computer a few weeks ago but luckily I didn’t lose any pictures, just programs. I would save all the pictures I have taken of my two sons with the Picture Keeper.

  17. Jennifer Says:

I would love the picture keeper. I am usually pretty good about backing up my photos, but it’s such a pain. This sounds so simple! I don’t want to lose any pics of my 16 month old!

  18. Rebecca Angioletti Says:

I am an avid picture taker and my photos are very important to me. After losing a close cousin to cancer a few years ago, I was so happy to have taken so many pictures of her throughout the years. I would be devastated if I lost those precious photos of her. The Picture Keeper will make backing up my photos much easier. I can even keep it by my bed in case of a fire (a big fear of mine).

  19. Deborah Says:

Just yesterday, I was talking to my best friend about how we both need to back up our pictures! Both of my children’s lives are documented in pictures on my computer. I know I need to back them up, but life seems so hectic now with them both in school (and me driving around and picking them up!) I would save photos of them doing all the silly things they do that you don’t want to forget as they get older. Like going on the potty for the first time! Easter egg hunts, helping wash the car in swim suits, helping to roll out Christmas cookies… the list is too long! (And the memories are priceless!)

  20. Kelli Says:

I’ve been looking for another way to back up my pictures other than on CD’s. I backed up all of my daughters first pictures on CD’s and now can’t open the discs. I’m so sad! :( Don’t want to make the same mistake with my 7 month old sons pictures!

  21. Megan Says:

I would back-up the photos of my child’s births. Typing this makes me paranoid and reminds me I need to do this today! I would be crushed to lose them.

  22. Lindsey Says:

i take soo many photos each month of my little boy. So I’d use this to start backing up the really great 20-30 photos of each month!

  23. pam Says:

WE literally took over 300 pictures while we were at DisneyWorld last month…now I can scrapbook about 100 in my photobook, but what to do with the rest??? This would be perfect… not to mention the hundreds of pictures I have taken in the last 4 years since DS was born!!!

  24. Chris Says:

of course I would save the gazillion pics i have of my daughter (and will soon have of her little brother :) )

  25. Stefanie Says:

This is a great product!!! I would use this to back of the THOUSANDS of pictures I have taken of my kids. Although the special occasion pictures are great, I love the pictures of my kids just being themselves around the house. I have been backing up my pictures on CDs, photosharing websites, and an external hard drive for sometime but this product is great and so portable!

  26. Jenny Says:

I would *love* this! I had never heard of it until now and am intrigued.
If I had one and had to choose out of the thousands of digital photos we currently have, the first to be backed up would be the photos of my pregnancies and births of my 3 kids. After that I’d start backing up the pictures of their milestones (first food, steps, etc) and our all-time favorite photos of each one.

  27. Amy K. Says:

We lost ALL of our pictures from my pregnancy through DD’s 2nd birthday when the external hard drive my husband bought for pictures irretrievably crashed. I can’t tell you how much grief this has caused me.
I would love to grab one of these so that I don’t lose any more memories. It still hurts.
