Game Review for your Preschooler

It’s so much fun when your tot hits that age when you can finally start playing interactive games with them (and maybe help them win!). We were sent a few games from Wonder Forge to play and review. This prompted our family and some of my willing girlfriends to sit down with almost three year old Fiona and PLAY!

ship The Jake and the Never Land Pirates Shipwreck Beach Treasure Hunt Game is a lot of fun. When I could get Fiona past the excitement of a treasure map, foam sword, spy glass and the gold doubloon games pieces and explain that this is an actual game with purpose – it was game on! This is a great memory & matching game for your three year old who’s into Jake and his crew. Its priced at $24.99 and sold exclusively at Walmart.

doc Doc McStuffins has been a favorite in our house for awhile. The All Better Game  requires 2-4 players and is meant for doctors, ahem, I mean children over three years. The point of the game is to earn scoring tiles by fixing boo boos. It comes complete with all the doctor tools you’ll need to fix boo boos and our favorite part – the slap bracelet bandages. This awesome memory, problem solving and role playing game can also be found at Walmart and retails at $24.99.

Tea parties, tea parties, tea parties! I have two little girls so pink, purple, princess and of course tea parties are par for the course. When we opened up the Sofia the First Magical Tea Time Game it was like Christmas! The game comes with “fairy headmistress” plates, place setting, treats, tea cups and a magical tea pot.  My favorite part of the game is the “Good Manners” aspect – no elbows on the table! The game requires 2-4 players, the player with the most treats at the end of the tea party wins. You can find the Magical Tea Time Game at Toy ‘R’ Us for $19.99. (I just noticed this game is on sale for $16.99 so get on it before the sale ends!)
