Hello from @Disneyland! #DisneySMMoms

Just a couple of fun photos that I wanted to share from Anaheim and our visit to Disneyland with the Disney Social Media Moms conference!  I’m writing today from the conference while Jon and the kids are off in the California Adventure Park doing their thing.  Clearly they’re having a terrible time missing me – here they are on the Radiator Springs Racers ride:

We’re staying at the Disneyland Hotel which is within walking distance of Disneyland.  We’ve been to Disney World a couple of times, but I really didn’t know much about Disneyland. Unlike Disney World, everything is within walking distance.  There’s two parks – Disneyland Park and California Adventure which has a mix of rides and features Disney World fans may know from several Disney World parks including Cars Land (new to Disneyland), Tower of Terror (similar to the one in Hollywood Studios), Space Mountain (Magic Kingdom) and Soarin’ (Epcot).

I love that everything is walkable.  You walk through Downtown Disney to get to each of the parks and Downtown Disney is a fun experience in and of itself!

So we’ve only had a day here and I’ll share more photos soon!  I’ll leave you with this one of me and Cole before going on Big Thunder Mountain in Disneyland Park last night.  I hate rides and my kids are always making fun of me.  They BEGGED me to go on this with them last night and I did only because I had just had a glass of wine and hoped it would take the edge off.  It didn’t!  Thoughts like “I hope my kids appreciate that I am on here because they are KILLING ME” went through my head while I rode it.  I know.  I’m weird.

Just like your Mom. Remember talking her into riding Space Mountain in Disney Orlando. The lovely little lady threatened to terminate my existence on earth!

You couldn’t pay me to ride Space Mountain now! The boys and Jon went on yesterday – Jon said the one here is crazier than the one in Orlando too
