In honor of back to school (can you guys believe the summer’s almost gone?), Lands’ End is giving away a MultiTask Backpack to one lucky Mommies with Style winner.
Some features of the backback include:
• Stash panel for a jacket, sports gear or bike helmet
• Separate bottom chamber to stow a set of shoes
• 360° reflective trim to keep kids visible
• Mesh side pockets to hold water bottles
• D-ring to clip on extras, like a lunch box
• MP3/CD player pouch for tunes
Have to say it’s pretty nice, and if I were eligible and won, I’d be more compelled to keep it for myself than give it to my child. And if you don’t win and want to check it out, visit the Lands End site – it’s currently on sale!
To enter to win, leave us a comment about your own school experience – what was your favorite subject in school when you were a kid? Post by the end of the day next Wednesday, August 27th to be eligible to win.

My favorite subject in middle school was English. I loved reading all those classic books. I also loved home economics (I don’t even think they have that anymore.) I still remember making donuts and decorating cakes. I am still proud of my guitar pillow that I sewed, especially now that they are so in style.

My favorite part of the day was recess or silent reading. I loved when we could read any book we wanted and just hang out around the room.

I loved reading, especially in the 4th grade, because I had the best teacher! (Mrs. Neely) I also loved science class because we got to do experiments and find out how things work.

Hmm…just one favorite subject? I think I would need to choose science. I loved learning about the world around me, especially about the habitats and animals and how every living thing interacts with one another. I learned very early on how our actions impact the rest of the world around us, my 3rd grade teacher had me recycling early on!

I really loved art. It was so exciting to see what projects our teacher had come up with each class and I always felt a tremendous sense of accomplishment because it had a definite ending. My grandfather was an artist and it’s exciting to see my own daughter also throwing herself into art projects.
