During my children's last dance recital a group of girls danced to a beautiful and touching song entitled HELD. I had no idea who the artist was, but I knew I had to find out. After a little research I found out that the song was on Natalie Grant's Awaken CD. I had never even heard of Natalie Grant before, but I knew I had to get her CD...and I did!

The song HELD, which left me in tears when I first heard it, is about the loss of a baby. It is a very powerful and moving song. After reading Whitney's article that October 15th is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day, I thought that perhaps this song would be of some comfort to those who have lost a baby...I know it is for me.

I bought Natalie Grant's Awaken CD initially just for that one song, but when I listened to the entire CD, I found that all of the songs are great! It's so unusual to find a CD where all of the songs are wonderful! It's my favorite CD and sometimes I even have to fight my husband for it because it's his favorite, too. I highly recommend at least listening to the samples. I really think you'll find the songs on this CD to be very powerful and touching.
