I really like my Catbird Baby Mei Tai. I was just using it today actually! After walking around the city, my shoulders started to hurt but then again, Anya is 20 lbs and is getting kind of heavy but for short walks, it's fine.

Hey Julie - how big are these? Like Thomas the Train size - or much bigger? I'm intrigued and was thinking of ordering one for birthday/Xmas-

Oh no... much, much bigger. Maybe 8 inches long? You're welcome to play with... I mean, come over and check Carson's out! But when you see it, you'll realize that you definitely need more than one. :)

Julie, Do you think this is a good gift to put on Jonah's Chanukah list? He'll be 2.5. Or is that too young for this? Thanks.

If its a little challenging at first, he'll surely grow into it during the year. Carson figured out the puzzle part right away. And it is a car--which all boys love, right?

The biggest reason for the 3+ recommendation is the people pieces. Because of Wes, we put the people into a plastic bag in our filing cabinet (which is becoming more and more of a small piece cabinet.)

I think its a wonderful gift! (We're giving the truck and the sedan for the holidays.)

Candice, why don't you fly over and check them out? LOL.

OMG, this is the coolest thing yet. Brilliant! My artsy MIL will absolutely love this....

If only money grew on trees I'd be there in a half a second for a play date. I'll put it on our list and like you hide the little people from Eli.

Someday...

Cute shoes, but they don't have a secure line to order with a credit card.

Wow! I have had Robin at Butterfly and Bullfrog do some portraits for me and they are spectacular. I honestly thought my mom was going to cry when she saw the one that Robin created of my daughter cavorting in the clouds. Absolutely worth doing, not too expensive and totally unique.

Oooh I love it Ciaran! Somehow I don't think that one's practical with a newborn, too bad! Love the blue/brown combo as well.

Congratulations Zareen!

And I thought I was dedicated to post from an RV parked on a remote Arizone mountaintop. Posting from the hospital has me beat hands down! Wishing you all the best :)

I dunno Whitney - I think it would be fab with a newborn! It holds a great deal more than you would think - it has less height, but more depth than the backpack. We were able to pack a ton in ours. It's so cute its just daring me to get preggo all over again!

Congrats!! You are truly dedicated :)

These cards look great but I'd suggest using vistaprint.com which has tons of cute designs and you can personalize, print on both sides in color and get the cards for less than 1/2 the price. If you fit everything on one side, it's even cheaper!

This is so AWESOME! I might have to borrow someone's baby just so I can dress him/her in this costume. I don't think my three-year-old would go for it!

I have been doing Fall clothing shopping for my girls and love the designer "Kate Mack." Have you seen this line? Too Cute! Check out www.sandboxcoture.com They have free shipping for orders over $50!

You're welcome--I think I made that recommendation! My sister is a personal trainer in Southern CA, and she highly recommended Lucy to me!

Thank you!!

I think they are a great idea. I would not waste your time using VistaPrint..if you have ever used them you would know, you spend all your time trying to translate english with their customer service rep's. Ordering with this company was a breeze and I have used my cards and people love them!!!!!!
GREAT IDEA from one mommmie business to another!!

I have a bunch of Whimsical Wardrobe products and they are fabulous@!!!

I think this is wonderful. I am a Neonatal ICU nurse, so I have dealt with parents who lose their infants on a daily basis. Also parents who have miscarried once, or numerous times in the past, only to lose a child to stillbirths, prematurity or complications of; or miscarriage once again. It is so sad and the bereavement programs most NICU's have are wonderful but don't recognize these tragedies in the years to come.

I have been looking for cheeky t-shirts that will fit me in my second trimester. Most places expect you to fit into a standard t-shirt (just order larger sizes). But I just recently discovered ArtApart.com, they carry a couple dozen designs in Maternity T-Shirts (brand is "Haute Mamma"). For $20 its a steal compared to the $34 I was finding elsewhere.

These look so cute but I am almost disappointed with the groovy girl esque clothes. Am I a Holly Hobby purist? I love the old calico dresses and bonnets! Boo Hoo! Bring them back!

Oh, I think I love those.

OMG Melissa, that's GREAT! I love it! I may have to do the TFL, that is just too funny.

Fantasy Football is a big topic of conversation here too - although I have to admit I've gotten a bit sucked in and may have to participate myself next year!

The matching games mentioned here are SO cute! I think my grandson will be getting this for Christmas!

I just bought one of the new Touring Totes and have been using it with my newborn. It holds everything I need for my 2 month old plus has room for my keys, cell phone, etc. I love the versatility of holding it as a purse or attatching it to the stroller. Brilliant and fashionable!

Julie,

Can you tell me how the sizing on the Buzz Lightyear costume runs. I am looking to buy one for an average-sized 3.5 year old.

My 3 year old fits in the 2-3T, but it won't last long. Its a stretchy material, but already a little snug. If you want him to play dress up for a while, I'd go with the 4T size. HTH!

Definitely go bigger! Although our Buzz is from OSA, I got Nate a 3-4T (he's not yet 3) and I really have to struggle to get him into it - it's snug. I think bigger is better with costumes - figure it gives you time to get good play/dress-up time with them.

I just ordered and the code did not work! There was actually nowhere to enter it. Just be careful to contact them and check this out before you order.

C

The code was deactivated and will not work. I just got off the phone with them and had to cancel my order which went through at full price. What a bummer!

I tried it last night & it didn't work. I made sure it was on a pair of shoes that was NOT on sale, nor was a brand that was excluded from the promotion, so I'm not sure why it didn't take it. I emailed them last night, but haven't heard from them. I tried again this morning & it didn't work either. :( Bummed, I was gonna order a bunch of cute shoes.

Did the webcode at Baby Browns only work through October? I tried it this morning and it isn't working.

I'm TOTALLY participating in Fantasy FB next year. LOVE it and I'm jealous I wasn't in this year!

Hi,

I found that the link with the discount code takes you to a "page not found". And then if you place an order with the normal website there isn't a spot to enter a discount code. Just wanted to let you know.

Sam

If you need any of these Vera Bradley items in the retiring colors- call BrownsOn5th.com at 800-617-0087. I use them and they are the best. Free shipping too.

The broken code has been fixed. Thank you. The code will work at the http://www.bobuxusa.com/ website.

Best, Julie

Melissa,

I am one of the co-creators of TABFL.com, and I would like to personally invite you and all the Mommies with Style to come play in your own VIP League. I will try to contact you, but let me say, I love your site and support all mommmies with style.

I can't seem to get the discount code to work. Has anyone else been able to use it?

thanks michelle! i'll check into this and get back to everyone.

Love the site! Good find Melissa!

I've purchased and been a customer of www.KidMusic.com for years and they've always given great customer service. Last year they introduced a dealer program which I'm now a part of. I used to tell all my friends about this company and their personalized music CDs just because I liked the products but now I tell them about my own dealer site so I make a commission on it. Highly Recommended. Tracy.

This is the best site around for baby gifts! The wrapping is amazing and customer service an A+.

I found a great site for baby gifts as well! The baby clothes and accessories are just beautiful! http://www.sandboxcouture.com

Woo Hoo Whitney! We are so happy for you and your family! We can't wait to meet Cole soon! :) Love Jen

Congratulations and welcome! Stop by RookieMoms if you run out of ideas of things to do. Ha ha ha.

Hi -- I tried using the code and it wasn't working :-(

Congrats Whit, Daddy and Big Bro Nate! Cole, you have a lot of products to test out! Welcome little man!

Hi,

The code needs to be
entered in the "COMMENTS" section during check out and
then they'll manually deduct the shipping.

I hope this helps!

Susan

I've been informed by MWS reader, Em, that there is a difficulty using the Pearhead code. I am checking on it and should have an update by Monday.

Thanks so much, Em!

OMGosh! Is he really here already? Congrats on your new arrival enjoy every moment.

Alina

Congratulations on your 'principino!' Be well and enjoy every milestone! Speak soon!
Regards,
Lidia

Woman, are you insane? You can't make a c-section recovering woman laugh!

Seriously, I am the polar opposite of Bree. Just ask someone who has ever stepped foot in my house - organized, I am NOT.

Or ask my almost-3 year old how our well-thought out potty training plan has gone over and you'll discover the gruesome truth.

But thanks for the laugh and great post :)

Great! More beautiful stationery- more pressure to get these Thank Yous out in a timely manner.
Signed,
Another Bree/Martha Wannabe

Does anyone know how to get on to the diva decor website? I have been trying for the last couple of weeks but keep getting an "error please contact the site administrator" message.

Thanks for the update, Swirvin. I e-mailed my contact this morning and will update asap.

Oooh. I want all of these. Thanks Julie. Think I can call them hanukah presents for Fox?

The kids love it all... definitely a Hannukah present. Gift it with a bottle of bubbles and you're so set!

i SO want one of those trunki cases for bella! and i say this knowing that we have NO PLANS to leave the midwest (or sadly, even the state) anytime soon. :P

very cute ... and reasonable at $40. are they pretty good sized?

Hey -- I've also bought these photo night lights and they really are fantastic! There's nothing better than your favorite photo lighting up a room. So glad you included them on your website.

So glad you found it Melissa. I have a store about two miles away and "find" myself there all too often :-)

How much do these run? I couldn't find pricing anywhere!

Hi,

The Photo Night Lights are $34.95 each.

Susan

I have many Priddy Creations and love them all. They're beautiful and beautifully made! I've also given them as gifts and they're ALWAYS appreciated. ;)

Hi!

Thanks for the review of our cake knife! I just checked our site stats today and saw a significant amount of traffic that has come from mommieswithstyle and hours later realized that we had sent you a cake knife for review and just found the review. I didn't know the review was posted. Thanks for the exposure! If I may, there is one typo- should say wire wrap design rather than wipe...
BTW, we got in a totally new flatware and salad server design from Africa- be sure to check it out!

I ordered one of these and the customer service is awesome!! I got to customize my bucket and Chassie couldn't have been nicer or more helpful!! Can't wait to get mine, this will be very helpful around the house!!

These are darling. I would absolutely use them! I was having trouble once keeping a bow in my dd's fine baby hair, and a nearby woman suggested I put a drop of toothpaste in to keep it in. If these work, that sure beats toothpaste hair!

I've been checking out amazon since last Thursday and still have not seen the discounted price. Please let me know when you see the price go down again.

I've been checking out amazon since last Thursday and still have not seen the discounted price. Please let me know when you see the price go down again.

Hey Melissa! The price really seems to go up and down. I bought it yesterday for $30 and then later saw it was up again... so keep checking?

Thanks Melissa!
Just ordered six blankets and a pair of pjs. What a great gift!

I'm so glad you got some great deals too!

I was so excited after I shopped yesterday, I got so much done! And with the discount those personalized blankets ended up to be around $7 ... I was psyched! I got one for all three of my kids, plus a few for gifts!

Love these bags, but how do I find the "mini"? I can only find the regular size on the website.

I saw these at a local craft show and I have to say they're very cute and very well made!

Thanks Jen C. Make sure to check out my blog to see which craft shows I will be attending next! I hope to get them in local retail shops soon, so keep checking my site for more info.

I love these barrettes. My 5 month daughter has been wearing them since she was 2 weeks old!

We have these, too. They are super soft and very traditional-looking. So sweet!

Wonderful review of a wonderful product. Thanks

I just tried this coupon and it still works. You still get the 70% off on DarlingShoes.com

I tried ordering with the code, but the site says it's "invalid or expired". Has anyone else been able to use it?

Due to the issues people are having with the links, we have secured an alternate code and site:

Kid Kool Stuff
www.kidkoolstuff.com
code: MSW15OFF for 15% off through Dec 31.

Playdate NYC has the absolute best clothes for little ones. They are unique (read : not from Target), adorable, and the kids love the designs also which is fun. Well made in the USA and cute too!
LOVE IT!

I just received my Name Tag from Christi J and I love it! I couldn't decide what to put so I had her put "Little Man" on one side and has name on the other. My friend just bought one from her and had her son and daughters name on one side and her husbands on the other. You can't appreciate how great they are until you touch and feel them. I love them!

I second that emotion. We received as a gift several of these wonderful designs on Mother's day, and they are absolutely fabulous. They were for our twins, and they are truly having "double the fun" with these designs.

-- Proud Padre Pedro

These are darling! I love the cocoa cupcake best too.

NEVER BUY SEE KAI RUN !! They had a recall on the product and never had the decency to even respond to my request about a replacement.
Sure they look ok, but quality is 3rd rate and dangerous for kids.

Lil Sugarplums hair goodies make GREAT gifts for any occasion. I just love them and I love every attention to detail that is put into making these fine handmade clips. I mean you really have to see one to beleive what wonderful craftsmanship is put into them, they are amazing!!

The make great gifts for expectant mothers, b day party favors, goodies for the gilrs in your childs classroom, etc the list goes on and the possibilities are neverending. I suggest taking the time to view the wonderful colorful web site and see for yourself.

Brianna

How Clever! I love these. I admit to having used the old rubber band - well a funky braided hairband (gotta have some class lol) but these would have been sooo much better. Good find!

Wonderful review..you are making me want to start cloth diapering and I live in an apartment with a communal laundry room!!

This is a great invention! I would have loved to have these on hand during the engorgement period. I will definitely check them out when I get pregnant with baby #2.

I love Mommies with Style! Thank you for sharing our special breast cancer giveaway with your audience. Colleen :)

Love these. The lady who makes them lives in my area. I love the smaller ones too that look like a clutch.

I've used many bluetooth over the years with many different phones and I couldn't find a good quality bluetooth headset. I, too, have an iphone, and after doing research on a bluetooth headset, I ended up buying the Jawbone bluetooth headset. This, by far, is the best bluetooth headset I've ever had. The greatest feature is it has a noise cancellation feature so if you're talking to someone on your bluetooth, and there's a lot of background noise (like a baby crying), the person on the other end won't hear it (or at least barely hear it). The battery life is good and the sound quality is excellent. You can buy these at the Apple Store or the At&t store as well as online electronic stores.

Also, the next generation iPhone is rumored to come out in late June (will be 3G and have GPS chip and will be a bit thinner)

Parrott car kit or Bluetooth earpiece? Where's the clear advantage?

Salespeople may tell you that Bluetooth earpieces are the low-cost solution to hands-free calling -- but a closer look reveals these claims to be misleading.

Here is a list of disadvantages that the earpiece manufacturers and resellers don't want you to know about:

* Nearly all Bluetooth earpieces have an internal battery that can't be removed. These batteries have a short life of approximately 300 charges, or approximately one earpiece per year (less if you recharge every day). And prices range from $20-$300, averaging about $50.
* The earpiece can't be used while it is charging.
* The earpieces don't fit everyone comfortably. One size definitely doesn't fit all; yet you cannot try the earpiece before you buy.
* The earpieces are uncomfortable for those who wear glasses or sunglasses.
* For reasons of hygiene, the earpieces should not be shared.
* Earpieces are easily lost, stolen, or broken.
* Bluetooth headsets, on average, last just 26 hours when not in use and only 2 to 3 hours when talking.
* Many users purchase more than one Bluetooth earpiece, then finally give up and buy an integrated Bluetooth car kit.
* Potential harmful effects from radiation through the earpiece.
* Most people find the earpieces uncomfortable and ugly, and/or experience lousy audio quality.

For corporations looking to go hands-free, the disadvantages are multiplied. Bluetooth earpieces are more expensive than car kits over their 3-5 year life. Many employees resist using Bluetooth earpieces for reasons of comfort, aesthetics, and possible health risks. Yet no one will be unhappy with a Parrot hands-free car kit.

A Parrot Bluetooth car kit provides many years of robust, high-definition audio quality using car stereo speakers. Parrot is hands-free at its finest!

Okay I'm not eligible (obviously) but just testing out the comments.

My favorite flavor would either be mint chocolate chip, coffee or cookies and cream. Yum!

coffee!

all of them.

mint choc chip

this cracked me up-before I even finished reading your review, I was thinking, "how would they know???". ;)

I'm all over the Peanut Butter 'n' Chocolate!
Great! Now I have to go buy some!

I had to link to this on my blog!

Pistachio

At baskin robbins my favorite flavor is definitely "world class chocolate" love it!

Mocha Almond Fudge-need all the caffeine I can get(and almonds are good for me right?)!

I am all about the chocolate....doesn't matter which kind, as long as it's has chocolate in it!

Actually, it's not much fun for the knocked-up among us, either! Expectant mothers are told to avoid soft serve during their pregnancy due to the risk of listeria. (Ironically, regular scooped ice cream is perfectly fine!) I'm not sure how many takers BR will have for this tomorrow...

Xina - really? I hadn't heard that! That's so interesting. What is it - something's unpasteruized in it? (cream?)

I bet a lot of PG mamas don't even know that though either.

Peanut Butter and Chocolate! Perfection on a cone, IMHO. :)

Gold Medal Ribbon for sure! I'm definitely going tomorrow to get me some free icecream! :)

I am a sucker for any ice cream that has peanut butter in it.

Peanut Butter and Chocolate

Chocolate but I don't discriminate... I'll eat it all!

Oh my word. How I've longed for a contest that involves Baskin Robbins ice cream. And yes, I'm completely serious! Mmmmmm....

My favorite is Jamoca almond fudge (which I can only get if my DS isn't around since he's allergic to nuts). AND I'll do you one better and tell you that my hubby's favorite is chocolate chip. And he would totally arm wrestle me to win this contest. So don't tell him I've entered. Let it be our little secret okay?

The ice cream will be all mine. Mwah ha ha ha!

Chocolate peanut butter!!

It's gotta be Jamocha...in a sunday...with hot fudge...and whipped cream, nuts and a cherry!

PB and Chocolate every time!

Mackinac Island Fudge and Jamoca Almond Fudge...basically anything with fudge.

pralines and cream....mmmmmm

Mario Kart is a favorite in my house. Actually as I am typing hubby is playing with my parents and brother online. Dylan thinks it is cool to play (and beat!) his grandpa on the game. Maybe we should play together sometime. Now I am just trying to wait patiently for my Wii Fit!! BTW I'm Mel from Philly bloggers and can't wait to meet up in June.

Mmm...love chocolate chip cookie dough! I'm sure my 3-year-old would out eat me though!

Pistachio! Always been my favorite!

Anything non-chocolate, non-peanut butter. Usually something minty. Yum

All ice creams, but my absolute fave is Mint Chocolate Chip!

Mine would have to be mint chocolate chip! It has just the right amount of mint in it!

Mint Chocolate chip mixed with cookies & cream...YUM!!

I would have to say chocolate! Love it!

My all-time favorite is Rocky Road...and has been since I was a kid! :)

My favorite is Strawberry

LOVE the Chocolate Peanut Butter!!

Mine would either be Peanut butter and chocolate or Gold Metal Ribbon! Thanks for the giveaway!

This is such a generous giveaway! I love pistachio ice cream.

Aww
