I'll let you in on a little secret. Little boys have very poor fashion sense. My two darling bundles of boy, for example, would live in their ratty, hand-me-down Spiderman shirts, eschewing their closetful of hip, trendy boy outfits any day of the week. And let me tell you, they would shout joy and praises out loud if I ever allowed them to get those hideous cartoon-character tennis shoes that all the rest of their friends (who apparently have much nicer and less controlling mommies) have, and that they so dearly want.
