Lose that diaper bag!

Pronto Denim.jpgI have been using my newborn nephew as my guinea pig in order to find all the best products for my son who will be born in just about 7 weeks. I’ve heard rave reviews about the Pronto by Skip Hop and decided to check it out for myself. For those of you who are not familiar with the Pronto, it is a highly functional portable diapering essentials kit. The Pronto features an extra-wide hip changing pad (great for babies that like to roll) that is easily wipeable and a head area cushioned with an innovative “pronto pillow.” The pad is also removable with a zipper, allowing the body to become an independent diaper carry-all. The Pronto also has a nicely sized pocket with a zipper to hold the included translucent wipes case (but would fit just about any wipes case), a mesh pocket that has a Velcro tab to keep up to four large diapers plus a tube of cream inside and a front zipper pocket for personal items (great for keys, phone and wallet).

My favorite Pronto is the Denim Pronto, as it has two adorable denim snap pockets (great for pacifiers) on the front which resemble the tush part of a pair of denim jeans! It is super cute! In addition, the diaper pad has a beautiful Asian-inspired floral print on it. I love how you can strap it to your wrist or clip it to your stroller and you’re good to go! It's great to use for quick trips in and out of stores while on the run. Also, my husband tells me he would rather carry this than my diaper bag! I know I’ll (we'll) be using this for years to come with my (our) new son!

A diaper bag for the ultra trendy mom

My childless sister-in-law, who is 22 and very knowledgeable on high-fashion, came over the other day and was inspecting a new diaper bag I had lying out in my living room. "This is amazing!" she said, and was touching and feeling the bag and begging me to borrow it. When I told her it was a diaper bag, her response was "I don't care! I love it!"

My sister-in-law's reaction was similar to mine when I saw Amy Kathryn's Gladiola diaper bag in red and gray. It is very fashionable, very well-made with faux-leather* and faux-suede*, and barely looks like a diaper bag. Yet, it has lots of features that make it a great diaper bag, such as multiple pockets on the outside of the bag (including 2 bottle pockets), a matching changing pad with a built-in wipes holder, pockets on the inside, and multiple carrying straps. It comes in multiple color combinations, too. We also love the pink/black and bronze/orange bags!

This bag is perfect for the stylish mom who doesn't want to carry a diaper bag, but needs diaper bag functionality. Amy also makes purses and other styles of bags so check them out too!

Mention Mommies with Style and receive free shipping and a free gift (clutch-worth $38) with purchase over $100 now through March 31.

* Please note: Amy's company is an eco-friendly and animal-friendly handbag line, therefore the material is not leather (although it really feels like it!) They use a really high quality material that is easy to clean.

Packing it with a Lexie Barnes backpack

I first discovered Lexie Barnes back in 2005. My first review of her bags was of the Darling, which to this day continues to be one of my most favored bags. I now own two Darlings and although I use many diaper bags, I always fall back on hers. So I was excited to check out her new backpack line, the Duchess.

So I asked my friend Rachael (two kids - ages 4.5 and 11 months) to test out the bag, as she's a self-professed diaper bag backpack guru. Rachael doesn't do non-backpack diaper bags so I knew that she'd have high standards. The short of it - she's loving the Duchess.

Here's some of her feedback:

-biggest bonus for her is comfort. The back is padded, as is the underside of the straps, making it very comfortable to tote around.
-loves the shape and layout of the bag. the placement of the pockets is functional and accessible.
- the mesh pockets are also great for her. At first she thought they wouldn't fit much, but she's been hearing me rave about mesh side pockets for ages. (They are still my favorite on any bag for sippy cups/bottles) In fact, Rachael's been fitting two bottles on one side - talk about efficient stretching!

Other perks about the bag include clips to hang the backpack from the back of your stroller.

Okay and here's something else that's nice about the bag. I once had a conversation with my friend Stephanie about diaper bags. She said something I think totally coined our eternal diaper bag search, "I want a small bag that is stylish and will fit tucked under my arm, but it'll fit two sippies, diapers and wipes, all my accessories and more..." We had a good laugh, the point being that as Moms we probably want the impossible in a bag - small itty bitty stylish bag, that opens up and we can pull out the world.

And when I pulled the Duchess out of the box, I thought, hmm, this looks smaller than I had pictured and thought it would be. Therein lies another great feature IMO - I think it looks smaller than it actually is. Expanded, it actually fits quite a bit.

Jewels for Your Jewel

dolcesweetbellabutterfly.jpg
Recently, I received this so cute pint-sized bracelet from Dolce Sweet Jewels for my daughter. The Bella Butterfly bracelet, part of Dolce Sweet’s Girlie Personalized Keepsake bracelets, features my daughter’s name surrounded by sterling silver and pink butterfly beads, fresh water pearls, and pink and green swavorski crystals. There are many little links to adjust for size as your little one grows. It is the perfect accessory for dress up. With my baby daughter being only 6 months, I did ask about any choking hazards the bracelet may pose. Melissa Clark, owner and designer, responded letting me know that the jewelry is meant mainly for special occasions, portraits etc. and not intended for use while playing, sleeping or day-to-day activities. She also suggests that children be supervised while wearing jewelry. These beautiful and personalized bracelets are the perfect little keepsake to treasure as your baby girl grows.

Dolce Sweet Jewels offers much more than just keepsakes for your babies. They also have beautiful jewelry for young girls, tweens, and mommies. Check out Dolce Sweet Jewels as your searching for those perfect Mother’s Day presents.

Dolce Sweet is offering MWS readers free shipping and gift wrap. Just mention MWS when checking out in the comments section.

Everything's Coming Up Rosie

really-rosie.jpgIf you're ready to take a trip down memory lane, I have the soundtrack for you! I could not be more excited about Carole King's Really Rosie, the soundtrack to the Maurice Sendack television special circa about 1975.

These songs totally took me back. One Was Johnny, Chicken Soup With Rice, and Alligators All Around are three of my favorites.

You can get the full, digitally mastered soundtrack on amazon. Or, download the album or individual songs on iTunes. Take a listen. Huge waves of nostalgia are certain to ensue.

Fab Footsies for Little Tootsies!

livie.jpg A few weeks ago I was at a friend's baby shower, when I noticed a little girl running around in a pair of orange mary janes with a soft, natural colored rubber sole. I was distraught. They were utterly adorable, and I did not recognize them. I felt truly off my game. Remiss in my duties.

So I chased that little pigtailed cutie down, tackled her and wrestled her shoes off her wriggly litte feet in order to get a better look. Ok Ok, call off child protective services. I'm not that bad. I made her mom do it.

Thus began my love affair with Livie and Luca. If you haven't found a toddler in your area, to pin to the ground in the hopes of getting a better look at these cute shoes, then head over to the Livie and Luca site and have a looksee. You will find orginal and cute designs like Veggie boots and Elephants (my son's favorite beast) stitched up in fine European leather. And the price is refreshing as well - more like shoes and less like an airline ticket to Italy.

Livie and Luca shoes are super soft, lightweight and flexible, while still offering the excellent traction and foot protection of a rubber sole. They are a perfect step up from booties for adventurous new walkers. And I appreciate the fact that the soles are natural colored, unlike many other kids shoes in this soft and flexible class. It's nice to have that fashion option. And most importantly, my very, very, picky shoe shunning son was happy to hit the road in his new elephant shoes. Victory is mine!

Sweet Dreams

"Take flight and begin" -- is exactly what I hope my child thinks as he begins each day. Kukunest's child-inspired bedding reaches out to the children, greeting their mornings and slumbers, inspiring them to "take flight and begin."

Kukunest's fabrics are whimsy, innocent and creative. They're light-hearted, inspirational and playful. And just as much as I like them for what they are, I love them for what they're not. They're not commercialized. They're not loud and over-the-top. They're for kids, they look "by kids." And with a bit of a modern-touch, the bright colors mixed with pastels will add an excitement mixed with calm to your child's bedroom.

I've never loved the solid look on a bed, always thought the look of mixing patterns adds depth to a bedroom set. And I love the variety of patterns mixed into the bedding sets. Kukunest offers a selection of sheets, along with their duvet cover and sham, all the colors match, all the patterns stick out as another whimsical part of the collection.

Start planning that big kid room! Kukunest is offering FREE shipping with code MWS.

For something different: Studio Cherie's "camera bag"

Here's a cool and different bag, the baby care bag from Studio Cherie. She's fashioned these bags after the traditional-looking camera bag and it's fun looking. It doesn't scream "diaper bag," yet has all the functionality of one. It has a built-in changing pad, just zip down and it unrolls to reveal a pad and a built-in wipes pocket that you can pull wipes straight out of. The surface of the changing pad is made out of a vinyl which wipes down easily to clean.

It has two side pockets for bottles, cell phone, etc. And the top is interesting - it has two zippers to zip out to reveal the inside, which is made of a fabric called Crypton which is created to resist moisture, stains and bacteria. And you gotta love the attached clip - great for someone like me who is always losing my set of keys.

Visit Studio Cherie to check out the bags - free shipping on the baby bags.

Handmade jewelry from Simply Jems

So we had the baby's Christening yesterday. I was feeling kind of blah about what to wear so I ran out at the last minute and picked up a cute brown dress from Ann Taylor, as I wanted my "I'm a nice wholesome Mom who at least looks like she goes to church regularly" look. To complete the outfit, I wore this pictured brown "Y" Swarovski crystal necklace from Simply Jems. It was perfect for the outfit, in what ended up being a fun day with close family, and obviously a special day our family.

And I received several compliments on the necklace. This is one of many handmade pieces of jewelry from Simply Jems. They have stuff for Moms as well as items for babies. Check it out and use coupon code "mommies" for 10% off your order. There's also free shipping on orders of $100 or more.

Get your child drawing for a good cause

I thought this was a wonderful initiative worth posting. Flour Pot Cookies is spreading some happiness to kids who need it.

The Flour Pot is donating cookies to the Ronald McDonald House - one cookie for every drawing or note they receive in the mail. The drawing will then be attached to a cookie and given to a child at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House. It doesn't seem like much to have your child draw a little picture and send it off, right?

The Ultimate Luxe Sling from Sakura Bloom

sakura.jpg They say the best ideas are simple ones done right. And the fresh crop of slings from Sakura Bloom are right as rain! Mothers have been wearing children in slings for hundreds of years. Slings need no proof of utility - they have stood the much tougher test of time. They are comfortable, versatile and allow you to get on with your life while carrying your child, hands free, close to your heart. You can breastfeed in them, and read and send your email in them. But until recently, you could never look this good in them.

Looking through the catalog of Sakura Bloom slings is like staring at an assortment of hothouse flowers, each more lush than the last one you saw. The slings are made out of richly colored silk dupioni, in colors so saturated that you almost need extra set of senses to process their chocolate and candy colors. Can these really be a baby accessory? Are you sure? Because that silk rivals the wrap I wore to a wedding a few months back...

Now if you just thought to yourself, "Silk?!" and had the fleeting thought that this is not at all practical, hold up a sec before you click on. Because as it happens, this silk is totally durable and washable. In fact, it gets softer and nicer with each wash. The more you wear it, the nicer it feels. How crazy is that?

Or not crazy. Just simple and lovely. Like your baby, and your life, when you are able to move about freely and regain the use of two hands. I tested this sling with a small baby as well as with my 34 lb 2 year old, and found it extremely comfortable to wear with both. It was simple to adjust and just nice to be near. And forget the wrap, next wedding I go to, I may wear my sling instead. That way I can look gorgeous while keeping my son from poking the cake.

Up the hill, to fetch a pair of onesies

I'm such a sucker for packaging; put a product in the right wrap and I'm taken. So when I recently saw some items from Jack and Jill, it caught my eye because the whole package is so cute. Vintage tees are rolled and placed in a metal pail courtesy of Jack and Jill. I'm sure the play on words and their name doesn't escape all you Moms out there. The designs are whimsical and many of them old-fashioned with fun nursery rhymes designs adorning the front of the clothes.

Sooooo Savvy!

I don't know about you, but I've come to realize that springtime has begun to mean "time to hunt down new cute t-shirts for the boys." And just in time for the season, I've found Savvy Tot.

I'm loving Savvy Tot's 2008-political shirts. With sayings like "Don't blame me I can't vote..." and "Change is Good" (which, may not be a political sentiment at all when it comes to a baby, but it works here!) the snarky and fun statements are perfect conversation starters. Wesley wears his "A little hare on my chest" t-shirt and giggles back to all the comments he receives... if he only knew they were laughing at him. Also available are infant pants and hats. The pants have a tiny bit of a bootleg, which my husband commented looked very similar to something I would wear. It completes a very sweet, very comfortable look for a baby or toddler.

Also available are personalized blankets, embroidered with a postage stamp stating "Heaven Sent" and baby's birthdate, which makes an adorable and original baby gift.

As with most t-shirts, I recommend ordering a size up. The clothing is tagless (nice!) and made in a stretch cotton so shrinkage is possible (especially if you do laundry like I do!) Get 20% off your order with code MOMMIES through May 15. Plus, purchases over $30 ship free. And have no worries if you're sending this as a gift, the packaging is very impressive.

What's Your Number?

rott t.jpg Got a lucky number? Your birthday or your old street address?

Well why should your kids be any different? Thanks to Babystud your kid can now wear their lucky number on a personalized jersey tee.

We recently got jerseys for all three kids that stated their birth order. Much as I was tempted to order "Thing 1,2, and 3" tees, I ultimately stuck with their names. My kids, like most, love anything with their name on it. The site personalizes each tee for each order, so you can choose a nickname or last name if you prefer. Have some fun with a classic look or tell the world that someone is going to be a Big Bro or Big Sis.

These tees are perfect for baby showers, birthdays or even as an Easter basket stuffer. Mommies with Style get free shipping when you enter the code FREESHIP at checkout.

The Great Hair Treaty

There is a mother-daughter struggle that begins the moment your little girl has hair at shoulder-length. It is called the Battle of the Hair.

And while it generally begins off as something relatively tame, it soon grows. Before you know it, she starts refusing to wear clips. Then she won’t let you braid her hair. She may even insist on a ponytail everyday—rain or shine, sleet or hail, wedding or soccer game—which is where my daughter and I are in our little skirmish.

th_abbylynngreenpony3.jpgIt has been hard. We have had our fair share of late mornings to school because of our own battle. But as stubborn as I am, my daughter is exponentially so (which naturally must come from her father’s side of the family). So as the old adage goes, if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. So I have with these amazingly adorable Ladybugs and Butterflies ponytail holders from Simply Lovely Gifts.

Leslie—owner of Simply Lovely Gifts—offers these chic and adorable, 3-packs of ponytail O's. Quite honestly, they make our mornings a breeze. My daughter gets to have her hair the way she likes, and we all walk away with a cute do we can all be proud of. Thankfully, we've entered a time of peace...for now.

These packs are perfect for tucking in an Easter basket, giving as part of a birthday gift or as a special spring treat. Simply Lovely Gifts also offers an assortment of beautiful bracelets and necklaces. We have the pearl one and Ellie gets tons of compliments on it wherever we go. It is the perfect accent to any spring outfit.

Oh and the best part? Mommies With Style readers get 10% off with code "MWS." So pick some up and save the hair-drama for later. You know, like when she wants to dye her hair pink.

The Clutch Purse– Now for Diapers

sweetfletcherclutch.jpg
You might remember that a few months ago I raved about the slings from Sweet Fletcher then Melissa raved about their quilts. Well they’ve done it again! They are introducing a new product – the Grab n’ Go Clutch. I just received mine in the mail and it is so cute! First off, the design is so stylish and would look great hanging from anyone’s wrist. Secondly, and no surprise from Sweet Fletcher, the fabric options are incredibly varied and hip. It’s almost too cute to put diapers in – almost. It’s great for those quick trips out when all you need is a diaper, wipes, and some essentials; but of course still want to look great carrying them. And this clutch is stylish enough to use just for mommy stuff on those rare moments when I am running out without any little ones in tow. The clutch has a magnetic closure and comes in a wipe-able laminated fabric.

Sweet Fletcher is offering Mommies With Style Readers free shipping. Enter code MWSC at checkout and your shipping will be refunded.

Comfy shoes for baby from PediPeds

So I just got the baby a bunch of shoes from Pedipeds. With his big brother, I only did a couple pairs of Robeez early on - and I never really loved them, look wise or other. Not that there is anything wrong with Robeez - they have a quality product - but I've never been a huge fan of the soft-soled look on babies. But as this site grew, Julie became the guru on soft-soled shoes and I kept hearing her talk about PediPeds. So when I recently had #2, I knew I wanted to check them out.

So I got a couple pairs to use with him in the summer and fall. I really love the look. They are soft-soled, which is important with babies who are learning how to walk. (As they grow and learn how to walk, if your baby has to be in shoes instead of being barefoot, soft-soled is recommended due to development purposes.) They have black soles that are stitched on (cute), and 100% leather. They got up to 24 months. And love that they close with velcro and not elastic - seems easier when slipping them on and off squirmy feet. And personally, I think the styles are really classic looking.

Doing it shabby chic style with Ratzer Fratzer

So I'm starting to believe that this baby's sole mission in infancy is to spit up as much as possible - and in the process, aiming for as many furniture pieces, items of clothing and other things I'd prefer not to get spit up on. He's like the crazy reflux kid - happy as a clam to puke until his heart's content.

That all said, you think I'd be better about having a bib on him during every waking moment. I definitely don't as much as I should. But when I do, I love bibs like this one from Ratzer Fratzer. It has great coverage, fun prints and the back is made of a soft chenille-like fabric.

You can buy these bibs at at the Ratzer Fratzer website - they are currently offering free shipping.

Up Uppa and Away with the Uppa Vista Stroller

uppas.jpg I'd like to think that the Uppa Baby Vista Stroller floated into my life beneath an umbrella. Just sort of drifted jauntily down from the clouds, while the credits were still rolling. And a full ensemble orchestra was playing music while the chorus belted out, "supercali-strollerlicious-expialidocious". Maybe as it landed, a rainbow lit the sky...

Can you tell I am a little fond of this stroller?

If Mary Poppins was a stroller, she'd certainly be the Uppa Vista. It's just the grand dame, the super duper, the be all and do all luxe Sport Utility stroller. It outperfomed my Bugaboo in several ways (that I am about to share) and it costs a few hundred bucks less. Talk about a spoon full of sugar!

Both the Bugaboo and the Uppa Vista are full range strollers designed to take your kid from infancy to toddlerhood in supreme comfort and style. While both boast performance as the one stroller you will need, realistically you will probably still also need an umbrella stroller if you want to roll down any 747 aisles. (For super lightweight airplane friendly travel strollers, you might also want to check out the Uppa G-Lite). Like the Bugaboo, the Uppa Vista comes completely furnished with a chassis, a bassinet, and a toddler seat. Add ons for both strollers include carseat adaptors, cup holders and wheeled toddler boards.

The first area where the Uppa Vista scores big points is the bassinet. It rides higher than the Bugaboo bassinets do. You'll be grateful for this if you have had a c-section and cannot bend down comfortably. The Uppa Vista's mattress reverses to either ultrasuede or cool mesh for use in either warm or cold climates. The assembly and set up is a lot simpler than the Bugaboo. The toddler seat and bassinet don't share all their parts. This makes it easy to switch between seat and bassinet. And the Uppa Vista features handy color changing buttons that are a visible indication your bassinet or seat is attached properly and securely. Uppa Vista has even made life easier by providing handy storage pouches on the bassinet exterior for you to stash your sunglasses, a bottle or some spare binkies. Unexpected style points go to Uppa's bug screen - it's a dark sheer material that stretches over the bassinet and gives it the sleek look of a Mercedes with tinted windows. Not only screening out the bugs but the pesky paparazzi too.

Next there is the Uppa's "push". It's smooth, one pinky steering thanks to the high tech frame and oversized sport wheels in back. Those wheels rack up the points too. They are made of high tech rubber covered foam. The ride is as smooth as air, without the unexpected punctures that often plague air tire users. The U shaped Uppa Vista chassis means no more stubbed toes, no matter how long your stride. Real life notes: Thanks to the height adjustible handle, my ten year old comfortably drove this stroller through a crowded Costco without crashing into anyone.

And next we have the toddler seat. Uppa Vista's toddler seat measures out close to the Bugaboo Chameleon's. And like the Chameleon seat, it can be used in forward or rear facing modes with multiple recline angles. The Uppa Vista's nicely padded seat cover removes easily for washing. Both strollers have five point safety harnesses. But the similarities end here and the Uppa Vista goes on to perform far better for us. With the Uppa Vista, the bumper bar can be detached on one side and swung away, allowing our son can easily to climb in and out on his own. A good thing for a kid who weighs over 30 lbs. But my personal favorite feature on stroller has got to be the seat height. Not only is your kid up and away from car exhaust, but when you are out and about you can roll this stroller right up to a table. After years of parking my kids with their heads at perfect forehead bonking height with the table, sending the dh off to find a grungy highchair, cleaning it and then trying to find some place near the bathroom or backdoor to leave my precious stroller, this is huge! Thank you Uppa!

Putting the Uppa Vista in the car is a breeze. The stroller collapses in one smooth movement with the toddler seat still attached. If you are taking a carseat off from the frame and have recently given birth, you will be grateful for how lightweight the aircraft alloy frame is. No superhero strength required to put this stroller in the back of your car - even with the toddler seat attached.

Finally, I would be remiss if I did not give a shout out to the big 'ol basket beneath this stroller. Mary Poppins was no light packer with her massive magical carpetbag, and I daresay that the Uppa basket could carry that carpetbag, along with an extra jacket and blankie, with room to spare. Not a problem to access the basket when the seat is fully reclined. Of course. They've though of just about everything. Except Mary's latte cup holder... hint hint!

One of the nicest things about writing for Mommies With Style, is the opportunity to write about things I've really loved. Products that make my life easier and that I know will do the same for others. I would not recommend a product to Mommies With Style readers that I would not recommend to a friend. But after inspecting this stroller, I have talked at least three friends into buying it. I've even caught my husband talking it up to his guy friends. The super functionality appeals to his engineer side, as it appeals to my mom side.

Final notes from the field: My 2yr old has also given this stroller the two thumbs up. Better yet, the two eyelids closed. On every occasion I have taken him out in this stroller, he has spontaneously napped while I shopped. At first it seemed like a fluke as he has given up naps and has never napped in any other stroller. Ever. I can only conclude that the Uppa Vista is as comfortable for him as it is practical for me.

Check for an authorized dealer near you to get a demo of this stroller, or an online store that carries it. It's a brand to watch, and if you are anything like us, it is sure to make you hum and see rainbows too.

Keeping him enterained: BabyBeadz Nursing Necklace

I never really understood the point of a nursing necklace - maybe because until now I had never nursed a baby that was pulling and yanking everything within his reach. So I recently got one of these necklaces from BabyBeadz and am happy to report that when I'm wearing the necklace, my hair is no longer the yanking-material of choice.

These necklaces are made of plastic beads - it's not a glamourous necklace to be sure, but it has a purpose and it's cute and fun for a nursing baby. I was concerned with the whole choke/safety issue and this is what the owner of BabyBeadz had to say:

I wouldn't let him play with it unsupervised, but they are very sturdy. I give each one a good hard tug after putting on the clasp to make sure it's not going anywhere. I use "spectra" parachute cord which is supposed to be stronger than stainless steel and is very difficult to break or even to cut with scissors.

You can check out the nursing necklaces available from BabyBeadz on their Etsy storefront. The necklaces are $18 each.

Bottle Bags, Pacifier Pockets. Skip*Hop Satisfies again!

This is a collective review by Whitney and Julie. You see, we're so amazed at the inventions and innovations by Skip*Hop that we collectively come up with comments about their ease and use.

Take, for example, Skip*Hop's new Triple Bottle Bag. When Whitney had meetings in New York last week, she, of course, had to bring along her pump. Not wanting to waste the precious expressed milk, she brought along her triple bottle bag to try it out (and included a few ziplock baggies of ice). She pumped around noon, placed the milk in the insulated bag, completed her meetings and returned home (admittedly rushed and flustered) after a long train ride. About an hour later, she walked into swim class, wearing the Triple Bottle Bag messenger style, proudly proclaiming that the milk was saved! The bag (insulated with 3M's Thinsulate) easily stored the milk and kept it and the ice chilled. (And I do need to mention just how cute this bag looked on her--she has ice blue.)

I'd never thought of wearing the bag that way! When I got my Triple Bottle Bag, in red, I immediately thought, "Aha! Now Wes has an insulated backpack for lunch at school next year!" This will easily hold a sandwich, snacks, and his bottle of water. The size and straps are perfect for a 2 year old to wear on his back.

Then there's the single bottle bag. Its more than a bottle bag. Last week, planning at least a 5 hour spree of shopping, I grabbed the Skip Hop Single Bottle Bag and tossed in an ice-pack, a sippy cup and 2 cheese sticks. In the brigade of moms unpacking their cars and kids to enter the mall, I strapped my single bottle bag onto my stroller (that's right, no tossing it in the basket--save that space for all of your purchases). But wait! It gets so much better. Conveniently, Wesley was thirsty just around the time that I got a drink. I handed him his drink, and noticed that my sans-cupholder stroller had an insulated cup-holder. SCORE!!! I placed my cup inside and was able to push with 2 hands and continue to sip my lemonade, without worries of ice melting or the waxy-paper cup turning icky and soggy.

The Pacifier Pocket seems much more Cole's thing. Just like almost everything Skip*Hop, it attaches to your stroller so you aren't searching and searching... and searching for the pacifier when baby is in need.

And my use? Well, neither of my kids are pacifier kids, but I've found a few handy ideas for this piece. Because it attaches to my stroller, I've found it the perfect pocket for my keys and small change! No longer am I searching and searching through my diaperbag at the end of a busy day. I just keep the pacifier pocket strapped onto the stroller, toss and zip the keys in, and they're still there when I'm getting in my car! Easy access. Its actually a time saver.

And, like all things Skip*Hop, these items are extremely reasonable. Its easy to justify more. I think I need a pocket for every stroller, right?
