How Fast They Grow: Digital Scrapbooking is Even Better Now with 81 New Pages!
A few months ago I blogged about my new favorite pastime -- creating gorgeous digital scrapbook pages using How Fast They Grow. (Check out the review and some of my pages here.)
Recently, the website has come up with 81 new amazing scrapbook layouts in three different themes: Nantucket, Bella, and Celebrations, all designed by Lynn Grieveson of Auckland, New Zealand. These combine seamlessly with the selection of 179 other stylish layouts.
If you are unfamiliar with How Fast They Grow (and how amazing it is), you can drag and drop your digital photos into 12x12 templates and create a magazine-quality scrapbook page in about 7 minutes. There is no software to download or purchase and each page can hold up to 7 high quality digital images. You can also customize titles, fonts, and journaling on each page.
Check out these amazing new pages and take advantage of a special 20% discount for Mommies with Style readers. Use code "MWS" 20% through Mother's Day, May 11 (not good on prior orders, coupon can only be used once.)
I’ll be the first to admit I am terrible at writing thank you notes. Don’t get me wrong, I am very gracious and appreciative when I receive gifts and thank the person immediately. However, when a hand-written thank you is in order, it always takes a while for me to get a note out. Call it unappreciative, lazy or whatever you want…but is there anyone out there who loves writing thank you notes? (Call me if you are – you can write mine)!
So when I came across the line of stylish stationary products from Etsy storefront Sarah + Abraham, I thought maybe having gorgeous notes to write on, might help a bit! Designer Sarah Tams creates modern yet traditional personalized note cards, prints, invitations, postcards and stickers. The line features unique silhouette images that are just beautiful and breathtaking. I especially like the personalized stickers where you can select a particular color and silhouette image. They are great for thank you stickers on party favors for guests, return address labels or a pretty way to seal up an envelope! The personalized flat and fold over note cards are also completely customizable - you choose the design(s), color(s), and format. I love that you can have each of your children represented with a beautiful silhouette! Think of how easy it will make thank you note writing to the same person from all of your children!
Another unique style of note cards is the Superhero style which is perfect for kids. They are so adorable! Who wouldn’t love writing on these fun cards that feature an initial inside the shape and choice of colors? Need a gift for Mother’s Day or a teacher’s gift? Check out the Monogrammed note cards perfect for gift giving.
No matter which style of stationary you choose, you will love writing on it! Mention "Mommies With Style" in the Comments to Seller section at checkout to receive a free gift with purchase - a set of 4 note cards of your choice.
Find whatever style suits your needs at online stationary store Paper Shouts. Offering announcements and invites, you can select from a wide variety of traditional, modern and vintage products on the site for various events: kids' birthday parties, birth announcements, baptisms, sweet sixteens and more.
Invites are printed on heavy stock matte paper. And for the engaged friend in your life, pass the site along as they also offer wedding invites!
They say that pictures are worth a thousand words....
What better way to capture special memories than with the help of pictures and what better way to display your favorite photos than with a beautiful and unique, custom photo montage? Retrospective Designs’ custom montages allows you to combine multiple pictures to create your very own work of art.
These amazing montages are perfect for commemorating a special occasion, such as a pregnancy, birth, anniversary, wedding or for no particular reason at all! I had an incredible work of art created which included a family picture in a sepia tone and had two small circles of color photographs of each of my kids on the side. At the bottom, the montage spells out “family” in circles with a chocolate brown and blue theme. It is simply gorgeous and I was so impressed with how it turned out!
All you have to do is submit your photos either digitally or via mail, include your favorite quote, names, date, etc., and decide from a variety of materials such as prints, posters or canvas sized from 5”x7” to 16”x20”.
Josephine is the owner of Retrospective Design and is a pleasure to work with. You can submit your favorite photos and then receive a montage made especially for you. It's a great way to display photos in a new and different way!

I don't know about you guys, but labeling gifts for Christmas in our house always gets a little nutty. Growing up, my Mom used to just cut out little squares from the extra wrapping paper... sometimes the wrapping paper "card" didn't even match the wrapping paper on the present! But it seemed less wasteful than using a card on every gift.
Hubby introduced me to the whole mini sticker gift tag and we've done that the past few years. But they aren't very exciting, and they seem sort of lame - especially when I'm gifting to someone outside of my immediate family (to an in-law, or extended family member.)
So I received a press kit from Card Stix, which seems like the perfect solution and alternative to my holiday gift card woes. Card Stix are 4x5 adhesive cards. They obviously stick right on the present, but they are bigger than the usual mini-tag, plus they have some nice, festive designs so they look impressive on a present. They're more affordable than an actual greeting card and even better, they stick straight on so there's no fear of losing them in the craze of an entire pile of presents that have to be opened.
Also, I love the idea that you can use these in lieu of tape too! And they aren't just for Christmas or Hanukkah, they have an entire collection which includes Card Stix for baby showers, birthdays and more.
They have fun wine bottle cards - stick that to a bottle of wine and you have an impressive looking hostess gift.... use coupon code mommies10 for a 10% discount valid through April 1, 2008.
Don't be shy... I want you to be honest here. Raise your hand if you still haven't ordered your holiday cards. Go ahead... we won't tell. Don't worry, usually, I'm in the same boat as you, scurrying to pick a photo, coming up with the perfect wording, finding a spot to order and getting it all here, and then out, in time. And I'll admit to throwing my hands up and just printing one out at SAMs and Walmart in the past (not that there's anything wrong with that... but...)
We have VERY good news for you... there's still time for a professional, personalized photo card. I have a fantastic new site for modern cards with so much style. This season, my cards were created by Jennifer at Apple Blossom Prints, who is amazing to work with. Of course, being as indecisive as I usually am, AND having a major issue of getting my 2 year old and 4 year old boys to smile, nicely, simutaneously for a photo, made my search for a great image a little difficult. Jennifer started helping me right there. I sent her a few photos and asked her advice. Her communication was fantastic, we chatted, about which images work and how they'd appear with the different layouts... she even designed several cards for me using her templates as models and different images as they fit best. Of course, the selection was too big for me, so I shared it with a few friends who helped me narrow it down, and then Jennifer worked to make them just right for my taste, and my needs, as we like to send holiday-neutral cards. Any changes to wording, colors, fonts and photo styles are included, and Jennifer will send you proof after proof until you are 100% satisfied (Jennifer is extremely talented, so it won't take long!) After narrowing it down and deciding on my favorite, I thought I was finished, but then Jennifer explained the differences as they would appear on different paper (available are cardstock, photopaper and pearl paper) and recommended which would look best for the image I selected (shown here).
Then, when I thought we had finally completed the process, she sent me not only a beautiful proof, but choices for the back of the card--because the back of her cards are printed to match the front.
And if you love the creative style at Apple Blossom Prints but want an Apple Blossom Prints original, Jennifer will work with you to create custom cards--just for your family.
Use code MOM15 for 15% off your order, with no expiration date. (yes... you can use this code next year, too... so you can order earlier! )
Of course, you still have time now, but orders must be received by December 10 for Christmas 2007 delivery. So, if you haven't yet, now might be a good time select your image.
Could this holiday product be any more fun? Ringo Baby offers the usual gorgeous holiday card and birth announcement designs, but the "something different" here are the Holiday CD covers.
Select one of the holiday designs and they'll apply it to a holiday CD cover - liner notes are printed on the inside jacket cover, there's a CD holder and she prints her designs onto CD labels. At your end, you select your holiday music, burn your CDs and put it all together once you receive your package from Ringo Baby. I think this is just so unique and fun and I'd love to receive something like this in the mail. And I think I'm having even more fun putting my Christmas mix together for my own order. iTunes will be making some money off me this holiday season.
Have your family holiday pictures printed on the front and back and add your own special message.
CDs are 5x5 so they mail in square envelopes. They weigh just under an ounce so it's standard postage for square envelopes of 58 cents each. Check out all of the fun designs on Ringo Baby, including the Holiday CD covers, and use coupon code MWS15 on your order of anything on the site.
I'm not one for "paper" these days. Ever attached to my laptop or phone, it's been awhile since I've sent out a hand-written card beyond a thank you note. But I saw these Kate Spade babysitter pads at Crane's and thought, this is something I'd actually use.
I'd take a pen to paper for this, and here's why: each sheet provides just the basic info needed for a babysitter on your night out. It's small, simple and fast. Plus, you can go wrong at $15.00 for the pad. These babysitter pads are designed by Kate Spade and you can find them for sale in Crane's or at Crane's online.
My friends and I have spent the past 4 years discussing our scrapbooking techniques, trying to figure out the best way to create beautiful scrapbook pages with little time due to our busy lives. I have looked and looked and wasn't able to find something to meet my needs... until now.
I am so excited to have found How Fast They Grow. This is it ladies! Trust me on this! If you are a busy mom (aren't we all?) who wants to create beautiful memories in a scrapbook for your child or children but find it very time consuming and hard to keep up with, then this is the solution for you. What is it? How does it work? I'll explain...
How Fast They Grow is a digital scrapbooking solution. It is extremely easy to use. Once you set up your free account, you launch the "Digi-Scrapbooking" tool. From here, you choose any of the gorgeous layout designs. Then you simply drag and drop images from your computer into the layout, add your text into the pre-determined journaling sections, and then you are done! You can share your finished pages with friends and family, and then can order your 12"x12" full-color page and have it delivered to your door.
My pages arrived the other day and were just as beautiful as I hoped and expected they would be. (I have shared a few of them with you here!) They are extremely colorful and vibrant. The paper stock is nice and thick and slightly glossy. Very high quality. All I have to do now is slip the pages into my book and I am done. (You can even order your albums from the site, too!) No more stacks of photos untouched. No more cutting, pasting, trash piles, scraps, etc. No more lugging out all of my scrapbooking stuff from my basement and then having to put it all away until next time (months from now). I sit in front of my computer every day. It is SO EASY for me to just log on, create my page in a matter of minutes (honestly!) and then print them!
Oh, and did I mention how great the templates are? They are beautiful, classic, and extremely stylish. Recently, the site added over 81 new templates from the stylish designer Boatman Geller. No matter your style (whimsical, classic, etc) you will find something that suits you.

Why waste a magnet when you can make your actual card magnetic itself? The unique selection of invitations and announcements from Cluu Design stick straight to the fridge.
I love it - it saves using an extra magnet and it gives the invites a nice clean look. Plus, the designs themselves are beautiful. They come with envelopes and don't cost extra to mail out.
You will receive 10% off when you use code MOMSTYLE07.
Another company that makes scheduling easier on a Mom is Whomi. Whomi makes calendars, agendas and to-do products -- items that are designed with a Mom's busy life in mind. Everything is color-coded and simply organized, designed to help you.
In particular, we are using the Whomi Calendar in the kitchen. It's color coded for each family member, and it has a section for up to 4 family members. We're only just getting to the stage where I have to juggle appointments and things, so I've been using one line for me, one for hubby and one for the kids. It's been working out well, plus I like that it's nice and big - easy for me to do a quick check as I'm running by.
Visit the Whomi site to check out the array of products they offer. Whomi has been featured in O and on the Today Show.
Tiny Prints: an anything but tiny company and products
I've been remiss by not reviewing this one sooner. I've been seeing Tiny Prints around for years, but only recently saw a sample in real life. I decided to use them for the baby's first birthday party - I thought ordering from them would be a perfect way to check out the product in person. I ordered this invite, which is printed in-house by Tiny Prints.
I used their online system to upload an image of the baby, and to edit, crop and customize the invite by font, color and wording. It was very easy to use and allowed for a lot of room to customize it the way I wanted. Overall, it was a great experience. I opted for two-day air shipping because I was crunched for time and it came right on time and they're so beautiful. I can't stop staring at his smiling face on the invitation.
Tiny Prints also does birth announcements, holiday cards, thank you notes and more. Their designs are simple and elegant, and the card stock quality is really nice.
You can use coupon code MWITHS at checkout for 15% off everything on the site through December 31, 2007. (They have a holiday cards section.)
Incidentally, Tiny Prints is used by a ton of celebrities including: Debra Messing, Brooke Sheilds, Gwen Stefani, Jessica Alba, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and more. (Check out their very long list of celebrity fans here.)
This site has some fun little gifts available for purchase, including stationary, bags and baby clothes. The illustrations are precious and you have to visit the creative designs page to appreciate all the fun options they have available on their products. You can pick whatever design you'd like printed on each product.
So if you want a green frog with your little girl's name on it, on a onesie, you can select all of that at checkout. The same is true for notecards, kids wear, tote bags and more.
Be sure to place all orders by October 15th, they are shutting down temporarily beginning in November to update their stationary line. Use coupon code mds2 for 15% off your order.
Everyone's been there. Your out, trying to manage your diaper bag, your children, and an unwieldy shopping cart you trying to do all this and still attempt albeit feebly to give the impression of composure. You round a corner now attempting to steer your cart with one hand while the other one claspes a small hand in your that is ofcourse pulling you in a different direction at any given moment. And you bump (literally) into someone you know. You chat (or try to over a dozen questions coming from the little voice beside you) when you decide this conversation would best be continued later in more peaceful surroundings. You attempt to hand out your phone number and are now trying to manage the children, a cart, a conversation and your open overly stuffed bag; all while digging at the bottom for some scrap of paper and if your lucky a crayon to scribble. Now picture this same scenario while reaching in to your bag and pulling out a stylish card with all your necessary information.
Before Mommyhood, whenever the need arose to hand out your contact information you simply and automatically reached for your business card. That need to hand out contact information doesn't go away once you enter the world of Mommydom. Meeting new people, reconnecting with old acquaintences, setting up playdates all requires that information be passed out often quite quickly. Sophie and Spice makes Mommy Callling Cards for just these occassions.
Sophie and Spice designs are hip, modern, and colorful. They come in pretty patterns and contain all the pertinant information. The cards list your name, your email and your phone number phone, and most importantly who you now work for, the names of your children. On the back there is space to take quick notes, jot down a date, or emergency information on your children. They come in sets of 40, 100, or 200 which start at $29. They also just introduced mini-sets of 16 selling for $12.95. You can get a glossy or matte finish.
Sophie and Spice is offering Mommies With Style readers a $5 rebate on sets of 40 or more cards through Nov. 11, 2007. Just mention "MWS" and you will be refunded after check-out.
Whitney recently wrote a review about an awesome new product from MomAgenda called the Kitchen Folio, which is a great organizational product for your home. But MomAgenda's core products, their day planners, help make mom's lives easier at home AND on the go.
I recently had the chance to try out one of their planners, called the MomAgenda Mini Daily. I wasn't sure how I would like this product since I am generally an "electronic" kind of girl. I usually log all of my appointments in Outlook, and before I had kids and was in the working world, I carried around a Palm. But as soon as I saw the Mini Daily, I was impressed. First of all, this planner is gorgeous. It feels nice, looks nice, and is a great, fun color (and the cover is stain resistant, too!) Inside, it has a day-on-a-page format with space for mom and up to four children, as well as monthly-view pages. It also includes an address book that can be taken out and used year after year.
The Mini doesn't leave any detail missing; there are even pages to detail your favorite books, movies, music, restaurants, wines, health plan, exercise plan, and more. My favorite pages include a gift record (we buy so many gifts!), entertaining resources, vacation ideas, party planning, medical info, and birthdays and anniversary's. All of these great pages in one compact book!
As the school year starts, this is the perfect accessory to get organized (in style!). Download a free printable week-at-a-view and try it out, or purchase now from Tiny Truffles for 10% off! Use code MWS10 for the discount (and also receive free shipping for any purchase over $65).
The latest product I've been testing from MomAgenda is the Kitchen Folio. I love it. This is just the sort of thing I needed in my kitchen. As I've shared with you all before, I'm totally disorganized. And my kitchen bears the brunt of it. There are always papers flying all over the place, and although I try and stick important papers and items in various folders, I can never seem to find anything I need in those time-sensitive moments.
The Kitchen Folio arrived and I already love the clean-up it's encouraged. The best way to describe it is that it's a business portfolio for Moms. The outside is a faux-lizard print in hot pink. Inside, clear plastic slip in pages allow you to save everything you'd need at a moment's notice. There are tabs on all of the pages to help keep everything categorized if you should so choose.
But here's what I have going in there so far which I love: a preschool fall schedule; a class list with phone numbers from last year (will insert the latest school year's information when it comes) and some personal information with important phone numbers to us. MomAgenda also provides some free downloads for it - forms you can print out and fill out as suggestions to also put into your Folio. (Family Medical Info and Babysitter's information are two examples.)
I love it because it's a space saver, and I love it because it consolidates and keeps it all in one spot. Julie has a few too and I know she was just telling me recently that she plans on having one on every floor of her house! Which is an idea I may have to steal. For now, I keep the one in my kitchen.
You can buy it on the MomAgenda site for $29.95, or if you can wait a bit, at Precious Personalities for 20% off - click through the link for the discounted rate, but it won't be shipping for 3-4 weeks there.
With a 7 week old, it seems like almost every day we experience something new and exciting. The first sleep through the night, the first smile, the first trip to the beach, and more. Though I plan to scrapbook all of these first moments sometime down the line, right now I just don't have the time. That's why I love Tiny Tales.
Tiny Tales is a classy looking kit that comes complete with two 4X6 notepads to document each and every first; four themed dividers to organize each milestone from 0-3mos., 3-6mos., 6-9mos., and 9-12mos; and an acrylic box with easy flip-up lid to safeguard and store all of these memories.
The cards are easy and quick to complete -- perfect for the busy mom who wants to record everything in a beautiful fashion, but is tight on time.
The kit comes beautifully packaged and makes a unique and practical gift for an expecting mom.

They say that art is good for the soul. Like a big hug.
If this is the case, then that must explain my urge to embrace Neds from Ned Design.
What is a Ned? According to artist Susie Lubell, "Neds are people you know. Neds are childish but sophisticated.
Neds are punchy and whimsical. Neds come in girl and boy varieties. Neds almost always have three fingers on each hand. Some Neds are four-fingered."
With their bright saturated colors and distinctive playful spirits, Neds are strangely recognizable and uniquely endearing characters. They are available as original art pieces, art prints, note cards and journals. If you are looking for a unique and happy wall decoration for your child, shop no more! Susie can even make a custom Ned for you, just ask!
I'd love to see a stuffed line of Ned's in the future. Because as my daughter exclaimed, "Aw! They're so cute, I want to squueze them!"
You know that moment of terror you experience when you realize that your kids have a birthday party to attend in fifteen minutes and you forgot to buy a card for the gift?
How about when you are about to leave town and your best friend calls to tell you she is pregnant?
Or when you get sick the night before teacher appreciation day and cannot drag yourself out of bed to get to the store?
Never fear. There's a single solution for all these dilemmas. The Emergency Card (tm) kit from Bumper Cards. Its the perfect assortment of generic but personal cards that don't look like you got them on sale last fall at Costco. These cards are cute and boutique enough to make you look good, each and every time you send them. Like you went out special to find the perfect card. And you kind of did. Just not then. Do it now. Order yourself a set of these cute cards and never get caught without again.
Mommies With Style save 10% when you enter the coupon code BFFMWS10 when you place your order.
Everybody loves personalized items, I know because it's one of our more popular reviews on here. Which makes sense to me as who doesn't love something that's unique to you. I recently checked out items from Kind Living Designs, a storefront that offers handmade gifts and stationary items.
I love the journals. I got a mini sized one for me with a big W on the cover, and it's great as I've been stashing it in the front pocket of my diaper bag and I'm using it for jotting down random notes and thoughts. (Because I always have the answers to life when I'm in some inconvenient spot like the grocery store and then can never remember... so now I have no excuse, right?) And my oldest son got one with his name on it in a big book - he's been carrying it around all excited as it has his name and a sports theme. He's been using it to draw all sorts of random artwork whenever he gets inspired.
In addition to the journals, Kind Living Designs carries aprons, tote bags, backpacks and more. What's neat too is that you can pick your design from an extensive design library and I promise there's something for everyone there.
By the way, all items purchased on Kind Living Designs are 100% recycled. I love that. As you guys know from our recent Earth Week, we love earth-friendly products here and the products on Kind Living Designs fit the bill.
I really think that mommy cards are among the great modern inventions known to man and mommy. In my opinion, they are up there with the Medela Pump In Style,Angie's wipes containers and fashionable maternity and nursing wear.
My obsession with these small, rectangular cuties has been well documented here on Mommies With Style. So there should be no surprise when I tell you all that I've fallen in love with some truly beautiful cards from Fruition Designs.
The heavy-weight stock and creative card designs caught my eye. But rounded corners and back-side printing (each available for a small extra fee) give these cards an extra distinctive look and offer lots of options. LOVE THEM! In fact, I love them SO MUCH, that I'm giving these cards (in a field of stellar and super-fab competitors!) top honors. They just might be my all-time FAVORITE of all the mommy cards I've reviewed so far (and you know, Mommies, I've reviewed more than my share!).
And, here's the great thing. You too can partake in this mommy card obsession! Fruition Designs is offering Mommies With Style Readers a great deal! Receive 15% off all orders and FREE SHIPPING with the U.S. through June 30 with the code MWS15. Upon ordering, you will received a Paypal invoice with the adjusted amount.
I received a cool package of samples from Etsy storefront owner Mindy Wilson recently and they really caught my eye as I thought her designs were neat and different. Her line Groovy Inclinations features prints, original art and stationary items that are all printed in house.
She has prints and other items but I checked out the stationary. Love the "Hey Chick" line. And the "Save the Date" design is gorgeous, not that I plan on saving the date for any of the parties I'm having anytime soon but cool for a friend or family member looking for one.
Through June 30th 2007, shoppers can enter the code SuperMom in the "NOTE TO SELLER" section at the time of purchase.
Mindy notes, "It is important that shoppers wait for an invoice to be sent to them that will reflect 15% off all items in my shop except 16 x 20 prints, which are given a 10% discount with the same code."
First time around, we had one of those "My First Album" photo album baby toys (Who Loves Baby?). It ended up being one of my now-3-year-old's favorite toys, he loved looking at pictures of us, himself and other family members. Of course, it got so completely slimed that I ended up having to throw it, and the pictures out once we were done with it.
Fast forward to baby #2, and I was planning on going to Babies R Us for the same toy until I saw some sample cards from Goosie Cards, customized flashcards made for baby and family.
I love these - they are made of laminated, heavy stock paper - substantial enough for little hands to hold and not bend. Plus the lamination is nice because you can wipe them clean from drool and other dirt factors. They're big too (4.5" by 7.5"), so they're easy for little hands to grasp.
You can put whatever photos you'd like on the cards, as well as print wording below. If you don't want to put your own photos in, or don't have enough personal photos, they also have a gallery of images you can select from. (Pick a picture of an "apple," put the word below the picture and use the card in an educational nature)
The cards come in 7-10 days in a nice box. The sets start at $28 each, use coupon code mwsspring07 to receive 15% off your order now through May 31, 2007,
Love these custom stationary packs from Posh Peacock. Pick your favorite icon and have it printed with your name on ecru colored paper. Even in today's age of email and everything electronic, I find I never have enough nice note cards for thank yous and other random notes I need to send out. Each set comes with color coordinated envelopes and the presentation is lovely: each set is packaged in cellophane wrap with ribbon.
Classy and simple -- love these for a Mother's Day gift to your own Mom or mother-in-law, or how about selecting the "baby buggy" or "sassy mama" to give at a baby shower.
When I became pregnant the first time around, my good friend bought me these adorable note pads that said “We’re expecting – so much to do!” I thought these note pads, which had several lines on each page, were such a cute idea to keep track of my never-ending lists that I create! I was thrilled to receive them and thought what a nice gift to give to a friend that was newly expecting. So when a close friend of mine became pregnant, I started searching to find these note pads. Although I couldn’t find the exact same ones, I did find some fabulous comparable options. I came across a line of stationary called Bonnie’s Style Press which has an adorable line of stationary and the note pads I had been searching for. They have an adorable collection called “Expecting In Style,” which feature some great stationary items for the Mom-to-be. My favorite item is the note pads which include: my new “little black dress”, So much to do before the baby is due, ____ weeks and counting, A mother’s work is never done, and Daddy’s “to do” list. They come with 50 sheets, feature a magnet on the back, and come wrapped in cellophane with a pink, grosgrain bow around it. I think they are very reasonably priced as a nice gift for the newly expecting Mommy. I was thrilled to find these this time around, because my lists are still going on and on and on……

They say the pen is mightier than the sword. And while most of my communication these days flows from my keyboard, rather than my ballpoint, I have to admit that e-mail just can't compete with the warmth of a hand-written note.
Here's a great reason to put that pen to paper. In addition to the 15% at Push the Envelope that Mommies With Style already get (MWS15), you can now receive FREE SHIPPING through March 30 with the code BOUNJOUR07.
I just love these super-fun mama-to-be notecards. And, make sure you check out the Stock Up for 2007 section for great prices ... including personalized notecards starting at only $15.
Kids really love to have their rooms personalized! My daughter, Megan, just recently got her own room. Now that she has her own room, she is having fun making it her own personal space. One of her favorite additions to the room are her new painted wall letters that she got from Craftcuts.com.
Craftcuts.com offers a great selection of wooden letters , both painted and unpainted. Their letters are great for craft projects and room decor. They offer so many customization options with each of their products that it is so fun and easy to create something that fits your style and decor.
With Megan's letters we got to choose a font (127 choices), color (27 choices), height (4" - 18"), and thickness (1/8" - 3/4"). We also had the option of ordering them unpainted so we could pick out our own paint color.
Craftcuts.com has been featured on the show Extreme Makeover Home Edition and in the magazine Kids' Rooms.
The bottom line is that personalizing your child's room can be as easy as ABC!
We say it again and again, e-mailing is nice and easy, but joy, well-wishes, happiness, love... they're truly sent through Snail-Mail.

As a new mom, I always intended to journal my babys' accomplishments. I meant to preserve the date and the feelings I had with each milestone, from rolling over, to first teeth, to first steps.
But the fact of the matter was that I was exhausted when my kids cut their first teeth. They had not slept in days, nor had I. I didn't have the time to scrapbook, and journal. All the expensive stickers, paper, scissors and supplies I had stockpiled sat unused. Mocking me. The best I could manage at the time, was a star on the family calendar and an email to my mom.
If only I'd had the Baby Love Letters box from Canopy cards. In less time than my calendar/email routine, I could have done a much better job of preserving the memory. This ingenious boxed set of little cards makes it easy on us. Just pull out a pre-designated, and beautifully decorated card each time baby reaches a milestone, jot a note to baby, and stick the card in it's envelope, right back in the box. By the end of the year you will have a keepsake to treasure forever. And no scissors needed! Sets come in pink/blue and brown/blue combos. Mommies With Style save 15% off regular retail of $27 when you email your order.
I'd better get cracking before I need the "you've left for college" box!
