When you are pregnant probably one of the last things you want to do is put on a bathing suit. Because let’s be honest, no one feels they look their best while wearing so little while pregnant. But if you are pregnant during the summer months you don’t have much of a choice if you
want to visit a beach or pool. I also found that I was very limited to either very expensive maternity suits, and less expensive ones that looked pretty frumpy or had a bad cut. That is until I made a trip to my local Motherhood Maternity store and found one that made me happy, and so did the price tag!
I hate paying over $100 for a bathing suit in general let alone one that will probably never be worn again after this baby arrives. All the more affordable suits seemed to have odd prints, or a cut that made me feel bad about myself. I never liked a one piece suit but somehow this one from Motherhood Maternity fit very well. Even better? The price tag! This maternity bathing suit sells for only $29.99! I love that it’s strapless (but comes with additional straps to attach if you want), and I love the cobalt blue color. It had no odd patterns, and the ruffled top didn’t cut into me giving me the bust line muffin top. Best of all it is super comfortable. With the price under $30 I don’t feel guilty buying a maternity bathing suit.
If I wear it only a few times so be it, but I know that won’t be the case. With a 3 1/2 year old, and living only 5 minutes from the beach I know I will get a lot of use out of this maternity bathing suit. My only regret is that it doesn’t seem to come in other colors.
