We’re getting ready for our son’s arrival next month and we’ve decided to go with organic bedding from Natural Mat, for his crib. We chose the Organic Fitted Cotton Percale Crib Sheet ($45 ) – which is unbleached and undyed. The sheet is machine washable and dryable, as well as an ec0-friendly choice for our child.
Because accidents happen, we also chose their Breathable Mattress Protector ($70), which is made from soft organic flannelette. They can be used in cribs or for toddlers during potty training. The mattress protector is made with two layers of soft organic flannelette and sandwiched in the middle is a thin polyurethane membrane, which is child friendly and breathable. It comes with elastic bands on each corner so it can be attached securely to the mattress. Mattress protectors can be machine washed at 140 degrees Fahrenheit to kill all bacteria (bacteria and dust mites are killed at 134.6 oF).

Excellent choice. It’s surprising how many people aren’t aware of the health benefits of organic bedding for their babies. At the same time, it’s encouraging to see how many moms insist on organic.
Hmm, I’m not sure on this one… could be right I suppose
Some good info here. Still looking for supplemental data on natural health and would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks a lot!
