My two children, ages 4 and 2, use straw cups constantly. While we love one very popular brand, I am sick of seeing milk dribbled on my carpet. Tommee Tippee’s Truly Spill-Proof Straw Cup were truly spill-proof — nothing my children (or I) did made these cups leak! I turned them upside down, shook them and I was thrilled to see no leaks! The 9 oz cup is BPA-free and suitable for children ages 12 months and up. In fact, all Tommee Tippee’s products are BPA-free.
Why doesn’t this cup spill? The secret’s in their advance-flo(tm) valve, designed by a physicist so liquid flows on demand. The cup is insulated and keeps drinks cooler longer. The cup also features a hygiene cover trigger to protect the straw when it’s not being used. When it’s snapped down, the straw is out of sight. This cup is definitely a winner and I think we will be replacing our currently, super leaky straw cups with Tommee Tippee’s spill-proof version!
We also tested their Truly Spill-Proof Water Bottle ($4.99 for 1). To be honest, I did not expect it to be as fabulous as it was. It didn’t leak either and my 4 year old son loved using it as a night water cup. It holds 12 oz of water and has a soft spout. It has the same valve system as the straw cup and will not leak even if you turn it upside down.
